"You don't seem very fond of my idea?"

Well, she isn't wrong.
I appreciate her hard work, no doubt.
But I don't wanna move in with her, just that she can keep an eye on me.

"Actually... Yes..."

My voice vibrates slightly.
It is scary that I stand up for my own opinion.
She looks at me, frowning and cocking an eyebrow.

"Who is it?"

"What?"

That I am confused would be an understatement.
I basically watch her mouth open and close, while my brain tries to comprehend what she tells me.

"I asked you who you are seeing?"

A shiver creeps its way down my spine.
I don't know his name, neither did I meet him again after those specific incidents.
He didn't phone me yet.

"You don't know them, do you?"

"He helped me though."

She scoffs at me.
There we go again, pathetic me and my overprotective coworker and friend.
I laugh, throwing my head back.

"Forget about him, he will never come back."

Truth to be told, I kinda believe her.
It proves my pathetic behaviour once more.
All these accusations make me dizzy.

"Could you leave?"

"Definitely, when Mister He-helped-me-though thinks he can handle stuff on his own."

She left.
The normally utterly bubbly girl left me.
My time to cry again, right?
I scream like my head is ripped of my neck.

"How could I?!"

I am desperate.
Crushing glass after glass against the wall.
Shattered pieces of glass all over the flor.
It appears like a crystal bath.
My phone rings, voice mail.

"Hey... I just wanted to check on you. Call me back."

I shed a last tear listening to the strangers voice.
With a fading smile covering my face, I throw my body into the sea of glass.
Unbearable pain numbs all of my senses.
I can dully hear my door bell.

"Ehm... Are you home?"

"Just another night in my pitched black paradise.
Don't wanna cry so I gotta get paralysed."
