Patience is a Virtue

My patience isn't a lenient thing

Especially with someone who can’t sing

Someone who thinks they’re the best,

better than the talented rest

My patience is a small, corrupted flaw

Anger begins to at my belly knaw

When someone redirects an argument

For the sake of better judgement

My patience brings me sin

I say things that let hate begin

It’s all because I can’t wait

To let off some steam when it’s late

My patience for technology is poor

I let virtual plants die for sure

Sometimes I curse at the stupidity

That they think without God, they can get eternity

My patience often becomes a bitter being,

Sadness, an empty feeling

The feeling that I've lost my roots

But I've heard patience bears the sweetest fruits

My patience for work is thin

I give up two hours after I begin

It’s a small thing, that little mark of red

The ink grade marks that brought worse things said

My patience is tested by people quite often

I let my voice harden, then sarcastically soften

Shutting out the annoying boys and fakes

I won’t be used, no matter the stakes

My patience for love, however,

Will grow stronger forever

I’ve been alone for long enough, so I’ll wait

For God’s Gift, my Soul-mate
