"So, how was it?" Matt asked me, sitting down.

It was Sunday evening, he'd showed up on my doorstep with pizza after spending the afternoon at Brian's.

"What?"

"Your date with San Francisco guy." He said, raising his eyebrows.

"Oooh." I smiled. "It was good. It was very good."

It really was. He'd taken me to dinner and a movie. He was a nice guy and we'd hit it off.

"It was was it?" He teased.

"It was, in fact he's coming down for Brian's party this weekend."

"So I get to meet him." He said. "What's his name?"

"Marcus."

"Marcus. What sort of a name is that?"

"You tell me Matthew."

"Ha ha." He grumbled. "I met a girl."

"You did?"

"Yeah. Zack and I went out last night. I asked her to come to Brian's party as well."

"So I can meet her. What's her name?"

"Nosy aren't you."

"Fine don't tell me."

"April."

I laughed. "What sort of name is that?"

He glared at me and I ignored him, watching the TV instead.

"I'm going to bed." I told him after a while. "Let yourself out when you're done."

I had another big week flying between cities and I wanted sleep.

"Alright. Goodnight." He said, not looking away from the television.

I smiled and got ready for bed. He really was my best friend and I would miss him when I moved to San Francisco. It wasn't an if anymore, it was a when.

I turned off the light and climbed into bed thinking. Thinking about Marcus, thinking about Matthew. I hoped they liked each other, it would make my life a lot easier if they got along and besides I think I really liked Marcus and I couldn't wait to see him again, even if it was only at the San Francisco office tomorrow.

My bedroom door opened and the light came on.

"So." Matt said, standing at the bottom of the bed. "You've met a guy."

"I have."

"Well shit."

"You've met a girl." I reminded him.

He smiled and climbed on the bed.

"I have." He told me, crawling up the bed until he was over me.

"Well." I said looking up at him.

"Well." He murmured, leaning down to kiss me. "We better make this one count, it could be awhile before we do this again."

"Fuck." I said reaching up and pulling him down to me. "Your right."

As he went to work on my body I layed there smiling and as his tongue made me scream, for a moment, just a moment, I felt sad.

I would miss this.

He kissed me, pushing himself into me.

I would miss him.
