"Me as well." Camille pulled out the earbud and winked to Sara who was still blushing.

"Well, that was Camille." She took her jacket and placed it over her arm. "I was about to leave, so give me a second to say a few goodbyes." She muted the call and bid her co-workers goodbye for the week.

"Have fun darling!" Camille grinned, nodding towards the phone. Sara quickly left and unmuted the call.

"What time is it there?"

"Two in the afternoon, but I've taken a couple of hours off to work from home before driving home. I'm spending the weekend with my brother before going to the Netherlands. Afterwards, I'm going back to my parents for another weekend."

"Ow." Carlos sounded slightly disappointed. "I was going to ask if you wanted to spend that weekend together, but I guess I'm a bit too late to ask you."

"You could come to Belgium. I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind and my brothers will love it. They have actually started watching formula one again now I know more people in the sport. Just like that suddenly makes things more interesting. According to my mother, it was to keep tabs on me to make sure I didn't do anything they wouldn't want me to."

"You're right with your family, aren't you." Sara nodded. "Was it a big deal for you to bring Noah over?" Sara blushed. Carlos was getting at bringing him over. And he was right. She didn't mind inviting him over because she was curious about how her family would respond to him. If they would say the same things Pierre and Anthoine were saying, she would possibly consider dating Carlos more seriously.

"It was. He was my first boyfriend and I was hopelessly in love. Or so I thought. Or maybe I was at the time. I honestly do not know. I wanted nothing more for my parents to be okay with it. But they had known Noah for years, he's the son of my mother's friend." Carlos nodded. "But it still was scary as hell."

"And would you be nervous to bring me over?" Carlos was fishing and Sara knew.

"To be fair, not right now. Ask me when you are about to meet them and I might just answer it differently."

"I'll remember to do so." Sara shook her head.

"How are preparations going." Carlos started to talk about all the preparations that had already gone into the race weekend with it just being Friday morning and not a session had been driven yet. Sara couldn't keep up but Carlos seemed to need to get some of the things off his chest.

"And then there is Lando." He laughed. "He's a good dude but he can be so bloody annoying. Everything is a race."

"He looks up to you. It isn't very hard to see. You have a brotherly bond. Or so it seems. He looks up to you like a younger sibling looks up to an older sibling. You have the experience, he knows he can learn a lot from you but he also knows that makes you the one to beat. So yes, that makes everything a competition."

"Sounds like you have a lot of experience." Sara laughed.

"Trust me, I do, so do think about whether you actually want to come or whether you just think you want to come."

"I'm pretty sure I want to come. But I do have to get out of bed to get at the track on time sadly. Can I call you between sessions?"

"What time would that be?"

"Twelve thirty or something. It won't be for long, just like fifteen minutes or something. Maybe a bit longer." Sara quickly calculated what time it would be in her time zone. Twelve thirty plus six hours was six-thirty, right around dinner time. But then again, with David, they were going to have dinner around five-thirty and Leon wasn't one to sit still at the table for very long.

"I don't know yet. Just text me when you can call and I will call you if I am available. If by then you are not anymore, just skip the call. We'll call later then." Carlos nodded. "But you go now, good luck and be safe!"

"I will be. You go have fun with your family."

"Thanks, Carlos, bye."

"Bye Sara." Sara put her phone in the pocket of her jean skirt and stepped out of the underground and walked the final part to her apartment with a smile on her face. She was already looking forward to seeing Carlos again ahead of the French Grand Prix. And even though she was nervous to introduce him to the family, she was excited as well. She knew he was going to fit right in with her brothers. That her father would have conversations with him about things she wouldn't understand and her mother would love him because he would offer to help with whatever. He would fit right in, but she still was nervous.

She was nervous because she needed them to like Carlos. If they didn't she wouldn't know what to do next. Because she was starting to like Carlos.

A lot.
