He looked up and blinked (which Harley thought was cute) and stared for a minute before collecting everything that was in front of him in mid-air into a hologram cabinet before gesturing down towards the table to flatten the technology. Once the holograms were off, he walked over.
Tony wrapped his arm around Peter's shoulders and gestured to each boy introducing them. "Underoos this is Potato Boy. Potato Boy, this is Underoos."
"Hey, I'm Harley Keener. Nice to meet y'a," Harley said, introducing himself. "I'm Peter. Uh Peter Parker," Peter said, reaching out to shake Harley's hand.
When their hands touched, both of their wrists started to glow red, shocking all three people in the capacity.
"Well, I guess you guys are soulmates then," Tony said.
"Wait, you're Spider-Man?" Harley asked, his eyes wide. Peter just gaped and looked from Harley to Tony to Harley and back again. Tony just shrugged. Peter just stood there silently, closing his mouth, them both still holding each other's hands.
"Well I guess it makes sense, I mean, Spider-Man does quote vines and a lot of things that are part of Gen-Z culture, so I guess it makes more sense than him being like thirty or whatever. And I already thought that he would be around late teens or early twenties because, well, sense of humor, the times when Spider-Man is spotted, like it could either be school or a day job but who knows? I mean know I do now but still. Wait! Is the climbing up walls part of the suit or something else? I think it's something else considering how easy it is for Spider-Man to climb up buildings and stuff. Oh and then the physics behind it-" Harley was talking to himself, getting distracted by his thoughts that were pouring out all at once.
"Kid, you're rambling again."
"Whoops, I just think that's really awesome. Anyways, nice to meet you, Peter! And since the old man brought me here to meet you and work in the lab, what do you want to work on?"
"Um well, at least we got that out of the way so you don't wonder why I'm leaving randomly."
"Patrol?"
"Patrol." They each nod, and they walk off towards Peter's spot in the lab.
"I was working on this nanotechnology for Mr. Stark. I was trying to fit (Quote Bill Nye the Science Guy) into this (something sciency *jazz hands*)-ifying container. (Insert science stuff here cause I had enough trouble coming up with what he should have been working on to begin with). And for your earlier questions: I'm 17, school, and something else. And, lOoK aT tHiS graphhhh," Peter quoted, singing a little, pulling up a graph on the holo-table in front of them.
They both started laughing so much that it took them each a few minutes to catch their breaths. Tony had rolled his eyes and walked to the other side of the lab as soon as vines were referenced.
- BOOM! EXACTLY 1000 WORDS LONG WAHOO! Did not even plan that!
I had written this announcement originally at the top but I am putting it down here so you guys can read ze story first:
I got my second dose of the vaccine last week and my armpit was swollen for 5 days (still swollen, so that's great {note the sarcasm}). But it's getting better! I wasn't sick or anything so that's good!
I got to ice skate today without a mask for the first time in a while so that was nice!

I still wore it though except for when I was on the ice, doing my program (my routine) just because; even though I didn't need to wear it anywhere in the building cause I am fully vaccinated now. It's weird how wearing masks is like a comforting thing too now. I also don't mind wearing masks anyways: it protects not just me but the people around me too!
Remember to wear your mask and stay safe, and to be careful, not just for yourself, but for the other people around you too!
That was like a whole lecture, wowwww...
This was the first time I've written a chapter not on Wattpad, I normally write it on the app or on the website on my computer. I just wrote it in my notes app this time lol 😂
