Gillion simply shook his head. "I-I...Do not know how else to explain it, Chip...I have no symptoms of any ailments I know of from the oversea, though I am sure I lack in knowledge for that area...But no. I do not feel any pain anywhere, as I also do not have a headache." He turned from the view of the sea to face Chip, offering a weak smile. "Please, Chip. I apologise for waking you so early, I understand it is important for you to get your sleep. Go back to bed and get some more rest. I am fine, it is probably nothing. If I need any help, I will come and get you, I promise." Gillion added the promise on at the end, already seeing Chip go to say something along the lines of what he had said. Chip instead slowly lowered his finger he had lifted to accentuate his soon to be point, lowering it when he had no point to give, then sighing and agreeing. Chip mumbled a soft "g'night Gill" and left the triton on his own again.

Gillion couldn't help the soft smile showing on his features as he watched Chip leave, finding it very sweet that he had woken up to check up on him in the first place. He also felt a wave pf relief wash over him at his success for talking without having some kind of outburts like he was now getting used to. Before he was even able to turn and look back at the waves, he caught a glimpse of a...figure? standing just far away in the corner of the deck to be unidentifiable. Gillion immediately took a defensive stance, his hands balling into fists as he didn't have his sword on him. He narrowed his eyes at the figure he saw. "Reveal yourself, stranger. How did you board this vessel and what are your intentions!" Gillion's tired and unsure voice from a few seconds ago was quickly replaced by a demanding tone, still quiet for the sake of his friends below deck, not wanting to wake them before he understood the situation. The figure said nothing, though they did slowly approach Gillion, as they walked more and more closer, recognisable features showed themselves to the readied pirate. There was no way...how was he...
"You know, you and that brunette have a very touching relationship. Very cute. I'm sorry for sticking around for so long, though you didn't notice...just such a sweet and raw moment, y'know? Looks like you haven't been able to have a moment like that for a bit now...~" Gillion's expression of anger only grew looking at Nikolaus, especially at what he had said. The tiefling continued, "However I do enjoy that expression on your face, Gillion..." A cocky chuckle left the 'stranger's lips', making Gillion glare more at him, if possible.
"N...Nikolaus Hendrix..? What...H-How are you here? What do you wa-" Gillion stopped himself, understanding that the tiefling would only be here for one thing, as Gillion glanced down at his wrist at the tattoo, he sighed, "I...am assuming you are calling in your favour..." A confident hum came from Nikolaus, though he shook his head. "It'd only make sense as to why I have been feeling strange for the past week or so...As well as the pain I get in my wrist."
"No no no...it's far too early. I just wanted to see how the story was progression, you understand~. Though I can't say I'm enjoying how slow it's going, I'm more a man of action and progression, you know? So no, to stop your worried little thoughts, dear Gillion. I am not calling in my favour juuust yet. I am however deciding how I'll toy with you more than I already have been... " a small grin appeared, Nikolous tilting his head as he looked at Gillion, his eyes starting from Gillion's face as he looked him up and down. Gillion still hadn't let up his defensive position, this seeming to amuse the man opposite him further.

"You're so kind, aren't you Gill, can I call you Gill~?"
"Absolutely no-"
"Thanks~ Gill! You're so sweet and kind and caring and selfless and blah blah blah...I get it, you're a heroic type. Very selfless. That shtick is exciting for only so long, you know? So I decided to challenge myself! How much fun could I have with changing things up a little here..." Gillion's eyes widened slightly, his brows furrowing.
"That is not a part of our deal..! The deal was you free Loffinlot from the curse and in return you may call me in for a favour..! You cannot interject into my life aboard this vessel and..a-and 'change things up a little'! S-So you are to blame for my actions towards both Chip and to Jay?! Why I've been so unfair to them?!" Gillion felt a familiar anger bubble inside of his chest. Nikolaus stopped his quiet mumbling, looking to Gillion and stepping closer to him, then bringing a hands to his cheek, cupping it harshly.
"Oh well, yes, of course I am, Gill. Don't tell me you had no clue what was happening~ Besides, I most definitely can do all of that. And I have. Besides, that tattoo? It is a symbol of our deal, sure, but it also symbolises that until you do hold up your end of the deal? You are, for that time being, mine." He gently tapped Gillion's cheek he was holding a couple times, then shrugging. "Now, like I said, I'll see how much fun I can have with this..." Nikolaus' cackle echoed, Gillion blinking once, going to argue against him before losing complete sight of him. Gillion frantically looked around, while looking around he caught a glimpse of someone opening the hatch, seeing Chip coming up again, looking up at Gillion with a concerned expression.
"Gillion..? You okay buddy? I heard like...pacing and voices?" Chip now stood in front of Gillion, putting a hand on his shoulder. Gillion went to explain what had just taken place, a familiar burning sensation suddenly being felt on Gillion's wrist, making him wince and hold his wrist with his other hand, covering the tattoo and just shake his head at Chip, fighting the pain as well as the unwelcome anger in his chest.
"I-I...I am fine, Chip. Just go back to sleeping, I just needed to walk around a bit-" The burning slowly subsided, a small scowl showing on Gillion's expression at the fact the only way to seemingly lessen the burning would be lying to Chip.
