I don't know what summer is for you, but it is more than visiting the beach, catching cruise, and eating ice-cream. It so much more because summer it is the only time of the year my entire family actually get together .
You see, Mr Blair, my father is what you call a workaholic. So intrigued by his work, and forgets he has a family. My mother Lea is never around to fulfill motherly duties. It's either from one fashion show to the other. But one thing we share in common is being around during summer. Right now, we are having a family meeting.

"Why do you have to be so stubborn, have told you to apply for yale, you are telling me Duke. Why Alex, why?" My dad was questioning Alex, my elder brother about his choice.
The tension being too much, i began to hum to "let it go." Bobbing my head , side to side, until i was slapped upside the head by my mother.
"How smart. Your father is talking about something serious, and you are telling him to let it go?" She asked raising her brows for an answer.
"Oh Mrs lea, you caught on to my joke. I never knew you were this smart." I replied smirking. Oh she definitely lost it this time.
"You did not just call me Mrs lea-" She said. "I am your mother for potatoes sake. You are grounded!" She replied livid. Really livid.
My dad and Alex , stopped their conversation, and turned their attention to me and my mother.
"She really is angry at your mom." My dad said, whispering to Alex.
Alex squeezed his face, and whispered back. "Why won't she be. Mom is never around , i can still say the same about you!" He whispered yelled at my father.
"Watch your tongue young man, am still your father." He replied sternly.
"Or what? Ground me, disown me?, like am not used to it or like you were ever a father." Alex replied , standing up and heading to the room.
"We are not finished yet-" My father called out. "Besides, you are g-."
"Grounded!" Alex and i both chorused in unison, cutting him short. That's the norms.
We both headed upstairs, leaving our parents in shock. It never happens like this, we always tried to put up with their attitude, but enough was enough this summer.
The weather was so freaking hot, so i turned on the air conditioner and fell on my bed.
"Arrgh! I hate the summer." I yelled in frustration. As i turned to lie on my tummy, i heard my window make tick!. I turned, but no one was there.
"Is someone throwing stones at my window. Ohhhhh you picked the wrong window dear." I said, as i stood up to go see who.
Should i say i tripped, or fell flat on my face, when i saw the person behind the stone throwing. I opened my window to see a blue eyed guy smirking at me.
"How may i help you?"
