•part 5 | real life | month long sleepover•

kaya and josie got out of their uber, speaking since neither one knew had their drivers license yet, they walked up to the door of bretmans house and rang the doorbell and waited for him or conan to answer the door. they were only there for about 10 seconds before the door flew open and bretman was pulling kaya inside dying to know why timothee chalamet was in her insta comments

"bitch what the fuck, why is one of the hottest actors alive in your mother fucking instagram comments" bretman asked with his slight sarcastic tone. "i really don't know actually. he just showed up yesterday night when i posted that picture of me crying" kaya answered with a slight nervous tone that bretman caught onto quite quickly

"oh my fucking god do you like him" bretman asked getting excited "bret, we haven't even had a full conversation, yeah. he's hot, no denying that. but i don't know him. plus i'm still a minor. i don't want him to be labeled as a predator even if i did feel something" she said putting emphasis on the "did". bretman looked over at josie with a certain look that pretty much said "yeah she likes him" or a "yeah right okay" type of look. just then conan walked into the room and kaya almost fell over to go over and hug him

conan and kaya were so close. almost like brother and sister. they hung out whenever they could. kaya and conan truly loved each other but not in a romantic kind of way. they swore they were platonic soulmates just cause they were practically the same person just two different genders.

"CONAN" the girl exclaimed as she ran over and jumped into conans arms "i missed you so much" conan said but was very muffled. "i missed you too" the girl mumbled back. he then put her down and they turned around to see bretman and josie giving them a look

"ya know if i didn't know any better i would've thought you two were married at this point" bretman said with a laugh towards the end. bretman and josie knew how close conan and kaya were. so they both knew that they would never like each other that way. but there was always times when they second guessed themselves

though they had a reason to be so excited to see each other, conan released his album only like a week ago but they have barely seen each other in the past month because of all the stuff they were doing, conan was doing music stuff and kaya was doing stuff for hsmtmts. so they were excited to see each other when they could

they all walked upstairs to bretmans bedroom and they all sat down and started catching up. everyone was questioning kaya about timothee though. she found it a little annoying but she didn't mind cause she knew it was her best friends and that they loved and cared for her so much. so she didn't really mind them asking. she filled them all in on what's been happening in the past not even 24 hours. bretman started talking about how timothee could possibly have a crush on her but kaya kept telling him that he was definitely wrong and was maybe just bored or something and watched the show and decided to follow her on insta or something along the lines of that. bretman, honestly josie and conan as well subconsciously knew that timothee definitely had a crush on kaya

as kaya was listening to josie and bretman catch up she was quietly talking to conan when she remembered that millie was flying in that week. "so millie bobby brown is flying in on monday and is going to be down here for a bit, and she's wanting to hangout with me and i was maybe thinking about asking her to join our group. how do you guys feel?" she asked them. they all nodded their heads and said that they didn't mind. bretman kept saying the phrase "the more there is the more fun there is" so she took it as a yes and couldn't wait to ask her.

after about an hour of catching up and talking about random stuff that interested them to talk about at that time. then kaya heard her phone go off so she got her phone out to check it. she looked at her phone and to her surprise, timothee texted her. all of her friends were looking at her wondering who and what it was about. kaya started reading the text aloud to her friends with a slight nervous tone

"hey kaya, so this may come off as much and you don't have to say yes, i was wondering if i could maybe stay at ur place while i'm down in la, i have another friend i can ask so don't worry about hurting my feelings if you say no or can't. let me know!"

kaya lived on her own, since she graduated early from highschool and she wasn't planning on going to college until hsmtmts was over. her mom helped her move out of the house a few months ago. it wasn't that she didn't want to live with her mom or that she didn't love her mom. she just thought it was time to get her own place since there wasn't a reason to kye at her parents anymore. she went shopping with her mom once a week and still went to her parents house frequently. she honestly thought about saying no. but she really wouldn't mind the company since it was only josie, bretman or conan who came and spent the night every now and then.

"so what are you gonna say ky" bretman asked her because he was dying to know if she would say yes, because he knew her well enough that if she would say yes. she definitely would not mind dating him at all.

"uhm i think i'm gonna say yes. i mean i wouldn't mind the company. though millie might stay with me too so i'm gonna be busy. whatever, it'll be fine. i like a busy schedule. plus you guys could come over and meet him and stuff" the more ky thought about it. the more excited she got. all of her friends could clearly tell they were gonna have a thing with each other at some point. jsut by how she was acting now. so she decided to make it official and text him back

and with that. kaya put her phone away and hung out with her friends for the rest of the day before it was 9 pm and she started to head home, this time it wasn't josie she invited over, instead she asked conan over since they barely see each other. and on their way they stopped to get food and then went to kayas house and fell straight asleep
