ever since the morning nina could barely get out of bed without her head spinning, every step she took it felt unstable, which worried noon

noon had work all day, she already tried asking the others but no one was free that is until she knew who to call next

knowing she was going to be late for a little, once she heard that knock she answered it almost as quick as lightning

"im sorry for dumping this on you, she just needs help going to the bathroom, eating and stuff nina's like really dizzy" noon was talking so rapidly since she was in a hurry

"i'll figure it out noona, now go before you're late than you're already are", "sorry again! thanks chenle if you're hungry just cook or order out? i don't care"

chenle chuckled at the girl who was running out to her car, he was the only one that lived close enough so noon wouldn't be so late

going into the kitchen he picked up the notes noon had left behind for him, it read:

nina has a fever, calm it down with cool water
cook her soup, she doesn't like porridge
help her when she needs you
lastly, she needs sleep! sleep!

chenle giggled over the note, noon specifically underlined sleep, but soon after reading the note

he got a cold cloth, then hot soup for later when she feels like she's ready to eat

with the icepack in one hand and the cloth in the other he knocked on nina's door

"come in", the tone of her voice was weaker, she was fine yesterday just seemed really tired during the hang out

"nina, you feeling any better?", "i feel like shit", the two then laughed at the blunt statement

"so, what made you get this sick?" chenle asked starting to dab her head, "it started with headaches i just took aspirin so i thought i'd be fine"

"been sleeping lately?", "been staying up to finish dance projects" chenle nodded as he can't say anything because he's guilty of doing the same

"you should sleep nina, your body needs rest", nina nodded "im tired but i can't sleep"

"mmh would this help? it help me fall asleep yesterday" his hand started to go through her hair

strangely, nina found it comforting, honestly nina wasn't a big person on human affection but really liked this for a reason she needed to find out for herself

a little longer she was sleeping comfortably, chenle hummed satisfied of his doings, beginning to cool down her body, he placed the cool cloth on her forehead

which was wrapped around the ice pack, she was burning up really bad, it took around 30 minutes for the temperature to finally drop

"ah she must be over working herself" chenle whispered, he them got up to prepare food for nina and himself

chenle was pleased when he founded all the ingredients he needed for egg drop soup

he remembered nina telling him that she liked to eat that when she was sick back in japan

with quick hands he patiently waits as the broth was boiling before whisking in the eggs, when that was finished he garnished it with chopped scallions

chenle turned off the stove then moved over the pot so it can cool off, while it was cooling off he decided to check on nina

soft steps, he was able to check on her without waking her up, let her sleep before he actually woke her up

making his way back to the kitchen, he found the tray that noon had left for him so nina wouldn't have to make a lot of trips

finishing the tray off with a glass of water and medication for her dizziness, chenle gently tapped on her

"nina, lets eat", nina nodded slowly getting up, chenle fed her upon noon's request

nina ate the food with her heartbeating, her face flushed with pink, "did you make this?"

chenle nodded proudly, "i know this recipe like the back of my hand", "its good are you going to eat?"

"i have my bowl out there, i was waiting for you to finish" nina frowned which chenle found cute

"bring your bowl in here, eat with me" she smiled, "no i'll wait", "if you don't eat im getting up and getting it by myself"

"you can barely walk!" chenle yells worried for her, "so you going to get it or?" chenle sighs knowing he lost

sulking he walks into the room with his bowl and spoon, nina taps on the bed telling him to sit next to her

"i don't want to get sick foo" he joked, "i will seriously punch you" nina said

"kidding", chenle was happy just the two of them although she was sick, she was eating happily

the two talked about various topics: school, work, their talents, bonding every minute they had

by the time noon got home, she looked around seeing that the dishes where clean and everything was picked up

noon remembers to check up on nina, opening the door as quiet as she can, noon lets out a soft gasp

nina and chenle sleeping, nina's head on his chest while his hands were resting on top of her head

noom smiled, "mark would be pleased" she softly closes it then goes into her room doing late work.
