Ann-Kathrin's P. O. V.
I run into the hospital and look around. I see everyone in the waiting room. I run in and my mom stands up, pulling me into a hug. "oh baby"
I start to cry into her shoulder, "What happened?"
She pulls away and wipes my tears, "He was driving on the highway. A car swerved and pushed his car off the road. The metal median on the side went through the front windshield. "
I look at Mario's family, sitting there looking terrified. Mario's mother stands up, pulling me into a hug.
"He's been in surgery the whole time. We haven't heard anything yet. "

It's been 3 hours and the doctor just walked in.
"Mario is out of surgery. Right now, he's stable. We have him in ICU and he is in a coma. "
I fall to the ground as tears come out of my eyes. My mom sits down next to me, gathering me in her arms.
I stand up, "I need to see him. "
The doctor sighs, "ICU is family only."
Mario's mom grabs my hand, "She's his fiancé. "
The doctor nods. I look at Mario's mom, "You guys should go in first. "
She shakes her head and wipes my tears, "He would want to see you. You go. "
