09. crashing waves

it's almost 8 at night, yet levi is
still there, on the couch watching
cliche rom-coms. technically it's
him watching it- you're just
on your phone the entire time
unless a character in the show
is being stupid.

"bitch literally just fucking
kiss her already, damn!"

you complain, turning to levi
who is intensely watching the
show. he looks like he's enjoying
it (?) you wouldn't have known
he'd be one for rom-coms and
stuff like this, but you do you.

levi ackerman
"can you shut up and
just watch?"

"he's being a pussy, though."

as you said so, you received a
call from davina.

"let me take this, hold on
for a sec."

you get up to take the call. they
don't usually call you at this
time- honestly, you were
surprised they aren't still
asleep.

they have really got a shit
ass sleep schedule, there's no
denying that. but are you
one to talk?

"you're still awake?
what do you want?"

davina harper
"i just woke up- whatever, i
was just wonderin' if ya
wanted to go out tomorrow."

davina says, the sound of shuffling
being heard from their side of
the call, probably fixing stuff around
their room.

"dude, finish your homework
first, then, maybe we can go."

davina harper
"'kay, mom."

"shut up!"

davina laughs.

davina harper
"i can do them tomorrow night,
i dunno."

they yawn, before continuing.

davina harper
"so? do you wanna goooo?"

"why though....?"

davina harper
"cause i feel like it? plus,
stop actin' as if this is new
for us!"

"i mean, sure—"

levi ackerman
"y/n- do you want to watch
something else?"

levi suddenly shouts, which
slightly alarmed you.

"oh- hold on for a sec."

davina harper
"WHO WAS THAT????"

davina shouts into your ear
through the phone.

"shut up, oh my god- levi
came over."

silence filled the other side
of the call for a while.

davina harper
"no way, you're fuckin'
with me."

"not at all."

davina harper
"holy shit!! tell him i
said hi!"

they say, enthusiastically,
while also practically screaming
incoherent phrases into your
ear out of excitement.
