chapter 2

Much to my dislike the week had gone by way quicker than to your liking.

I sighed as looked into my mirror. I looked beautiful. I look like a true princess , I didn't look like me.

I still felt like me , but I didn't look it. I sighed as I held back tears. This isn't what I ever wanted. I wanted to marry for love not for some stupid alliship. But I knew I had a job as a princess. I was to do what would being prospect to my kingdom know matter what the cost.

Even if it was a life time of unhappiness.

I'm sure it wouldn't be that bad. I mean he could a secret softie after all. Probably not but he still could be.

You heard a knock in the door.

"Come in." I said.

The door creaked open for you to see your father.

"Papa! You know not to be up and moving at your health!" You scolded him like a tolder.

"Come on now I can't see my daughter on her wedding day?" He said with a smirk. I walked over to my father giving him an embrace. You felt tears leave your eyes.

"Now now dear don't cry on your wedding day , today is going down I history you know." Papa said wiping my tears away.

"I know Papa ,but I don't love the man. But I love my people so I will do it." I smiled softly.

"Your selflessness is your greatest attribute ,but also your greatest downfall Aph." Papa was a very wise man. He had lived for many years and fought in many battles.

"I know Papa ,Mother always told me that as a child." I smiled softly at the memories of your mother scolding you for being to reckless and selfless for your siblings sake.

"Your grace the wedding is starting soon." A Maid told you.

"Thank you Annie" I said softly. Dream was to walk me down the isle since my father couldn't.

I took Papas arm as we walked to the ceremony. We finally reached it when Papa pulled me into one last hug before he would have to give away his daughter. "Be brave Sweetie." He whispered before walking into the ceremony.

I saw Dream walk towards me as I heard music start to play. "You ready Aph?" He asked with a small smile playing on his lips.

I nodded before we walked out. Drista followed behind with some of my cousins. While George's younger sister , Maggie, threw flower pettles I front of me.

The people stood as I walked by them. I looked up to see Technoblade with a small amount of blush on his cheeks. He looked very handsome with a velvet color pants and matching tie with gold accessories and a crown.

I finally made me way up to the Preist and my almost husband. The Preist went on some sort of spule that's at all weddings , I honestly zoned out until I heard "Aphrodite do you take King Technoblade as your lawfully wedded Husband , with in sickness and within health?"

"I do" I said. Those two words I had heard at countless of other weddings now slipped out of my mouth before I could even think.

He asked the same question to Technoblade. "I do." He said with a solemn face. No emotion displayed at all.

"You may now kiss the Bride." was all I heard before he leaned in gave me a quick peck before the people stood up and clapped.

We took eachothers hands now walking down the isle ,but this time as husband and wife.

The hours passed as I was know in a carriage to the Door Kingdom. The entire ride has been silent us we  had never exchanged any words.

You where sad to leave your family ,but you knew it wouldn't be the last time you ever saw them. It would be a while before you would see them again ,but not forever. I held onto that hope of seeing them again. That hope would be my pushing forward thought.

To see your family.

We arrived at the Castle at sundown. We entered the castle , I stared at the Castle in awe of the size of it. It was definitely bigger than the one you grew up with.

"Come this way dinner will be served to us soon then I will show you to your sleeping chambers." Technoblade had said.

"Yes your grace." I said in my most polite voice possible.

"Drop the honorific , call me Techno. I'm sure we will at least be friends soon ,I don't expect you to fall in love with me ,and I don't plan on falling in love with you ,but at the very least we can be pals." He chuckled at my flustered face.

"No way in hell are you gonna be my friend your grace." I hissed just to piss him off.

His face fell as you walked into the castle. I did feel bad for being rude ,but it was rude of him to marry me if he had no intention of not at least trying to fall in love with me.

We ate in silence , and then he showed me to my room that was located near the library. He must've known I like to read.

Huh maybe he did care at least a bit.

I sighed as I got changed into my night robes , then decided to write home about my journey to the new kingdom , and then wrote a separate letter to Drista.

I knew life would be hell for her know being the only girl in the household now.

I blew out my candle as I crawled into bed trying to fall asleep ,but I couldn't. It didn't feel like home. I missed my family.

I hummed a lulabie Mama would sing to us when we couldn't sleep.

A small smile graced my face as I thought of my mother. I fell asleep thinking about my family.
