I opened this one slowly due to the events experienced at the last door, but was met with a much calmer scene. It was a bedroom, a nice one as well. The lights were out, and the window was open, allowing the crisp, autumn breeze to flow through the room. As I continued to open the door, I was met with a very sobering scene. One that I was not expecting at all, and one that I really did not want to ever see in my life. And, no, there was not a dead body inside the room.
There, upon the bed, were two people having sex. Once they realized that I was looking at them, the one on the bottom looked at me. The face was one I had seen before, but really didn't want to see now.
The face belonged to Montero.
I gasped. The one on top looked in the same direction as Montero, and was revealed to be Nayvadius. I felt like I had taken to separate blows to my chest from a shotgun. I could already feel my eyes starting to well up with tears. Nobody moved, and Montero stared at me, with big eyes, tears bordering his eyelids, as if he was apologizing with saying any words. Nayvadius maintained a look of continuous shock.
Summer came to my side as I stood in the frame of the door.
"What ya looking at in here?" she asked, walking to my side. She stopped as she got beside me. She was seeing the exact same thing as me. I wasn't dreaming.
She wasn't as "peaceful" as I was, I guess one could claim.
"AWWWWWW HELL NAHHHHHHHH,"Summer screamed, running into the room, turning the lights on, and hitting Nayvadius, "SO YOU'VE BEEN WITH THIS LITTLE SHIT THE ENTIRE TIME? I KNEW Y'ALL WERE MORE THAN 'FRIENDS'!"
I took this as a sign that it was time for me to leave them. Besides, I couldn't spend another second looking at my "friend" and "boyfriend". I walked down the hall, wiping the tears that were falling from my eyes. I couldn't believe that they were fucking with one another the entire fucking time. I was destroyed, hopeless, and heartbroken.
JORDAN
This party had actually turned out to be much more fun than I had thought, and I had been having a fun time. They had some good ass weed, and I was reminded that I had actually been able to make some positives during this whole ordeal, that being the friends I had made in Atlanta.
I took an opportunity to sit beside a very drunk Symere for no real reason in particular. I figured it was just a symbolic passing off of him to Monty or something, I don't really know. He was adorable, that was the sad thing. Not sad because he was adorable, sad because it would never change, and I wouldn't ever be able to have him again.
Eventually Summer kidnapped him in order to go look for Montero and Nayvadius or something, and I was left with my blunt and my own mind. I took this time to reflect on what was next now that Symere was in the rear view mirror. As I was theorizing, I was met with something else.
A distraught Symere came nearly falling down the hallway, tears streaming from his sweet little eyes, and his dreads messed around with. I looked over at him with a concerned expression, and he stumbled over to me on the couch.
"Symere," I asked, concerned, "what the hell is going on?" He couldn't stop crying softly, so I hugged him to try and make him feel better, which he returned in an even better way. He sat up again, and wiped his eyes.
"You ready to tell me what's up now?" I inquired, once again. He nodded his head, and I began to become invested in the next two words he said:
"Montero cheated."
I was confused, "He cheated?" I asked, "What do you mean?"
"No, like I just walked in on him fucking with Nayvadius. Literally fucking." Symere sobbed.
I gave him another hug, "Symere, you know what?" I said. He looked up and cocked his head, as if asking "What?"
"Fuck them. You have SUCH better friends than they were anyways that would never do that to you. You have Rakim. You have Amala. You have Robin. You have Sheyaa, Miles, Summer, Nicki, Billie, Willow, Jaden. I hope you consider me a friend."
He looked up at me, smiling. "Of course you're my friend, Jordy. You're almost, even closer than a friend."
I thought to myself, "It's now or never Jordan. If you're gonna make a move, you better do it right fucking now."
"Hey, let's go somewhere more, uh, private to talk, since it's kinda loud out here. What do you think?" I asked. Symere nodded and smiled, standing up.
I followed him as he walked towards an empty guest room. I looked around. I saw Caleb and Travis silently cheering in a corner. Rakim, Amala, Sheyaa, and Miles were all doing the same, each holding a Budweiser.
Symere opened a door that lead into a guest bedroom, and I followed him, shutting the door behind me, hopefully leading to a night I would want to relive my entire life.
