SYMERE:
Symere's House: Boulder Vista, Georgia
Ok, so when Sheyaa, and Miles, and Rakim, and Amala all showed up, I really didn't want to talk to them. It wasn't like they did anything wrong, but I just really wanted to spend time with Montero and Jordan, and maybe try to get with Jordan if possible, or at least find out who he liked. But then, while waiting in line to buy a Coke, Sheyaa's ass walks up out of nowhere and starts screaming and shit.
"You for reallllll gotta stop hangin' out with them faggots." Sheyaa yelled at me. "Why the fuck do you care?" I replied, "You think someone tryna take me from you? Are you a 'faggot' also?" Sheyaa seemed to only get more angry at that, as Miles put his hand on Sheyaa's shoulder trying to get him to back away from me. I honestly think that Miles just was tired of watching Sheyaa always looking for a fight, and I didn't blame him.
I just decided to back away from Sheyaa, thinking that he was just jealous at the fact that I had other friends. He and all the others were still my friends, of course, but I'm obviously still allowed to be around other people. Sheyaa stormed off, and Miles, told me not to worry about him, because, in his words: "Sheyaa was having a Sheyaa moment."
Miles went and chased after him, before he went and did something that he would probably regret, while Rakim and Amala stayed and continued to push me towards telling Sheyaa and Miles. "If you don't tell him soon, you know that he's gonna keep doing this, bruh." Rakim explained. I nodded my head, not sure when exactly I wanted to inform the rest of our small group.
All of a sudden, Jordan emerged from the bathroom and walked up to my side, making me feel so much more relaxed almost instantly. Rakim and Amala saw what was going on, and decided to leave us together, which I was thankful for.
I replayed these events in my head as I drove home, really starting to balance the risks and effects of coming out publicly, or at least, somewhat publicly. I had invited Jordan home with me, since apparently Caleb just up and left him. Kinda a dick move, but whatever, I'm sure Caleb has his reasons. I didn't even have to ask mama, as she always was so chill with me just having whoever over; she always seemed to like my friends. She even managed to like them more than myself sometimes.
"But for real," Jordan spoke, "do not even try to say that you weren't about to hit me." I cut my eyes towards him, cracking a smile. Jordan's face lit up and a smile grew across it from end-to-end. "I see the smile," he said, "don't even hide it."
I blushed, but not enough for it to be noticed. "Fine, you'll be that way; not even gonna admit that you almost killed one of your favorite niggas." he carried on. I approached a red light and slowed to a stop, "No I won't," I proclaimed, "I will, however, admit that I almost killed my favorite person in the whole wide world." Jordan's sweet eyes looked from his phone to my face, with an enamoring glow living within them. "Bullshit," he said, lightly hitting my arm, "no way I'm your favorite." I nodded my head, smiling.
"Awwwwwwwww, Syyyyyyyyyyyyyy." grinned Jordan. I exchanged a smile towards his cute little face. That birthmark on his cheek was just soooooooo adorable, I swear. "So, where do you live again, Sy?" Jordan asked, his gaze turning back towards his phone.
"Boulder Vista," I informed him, "which is basically just up here on the right." Jordan nodded in approval as I turned into the incredibly familiar entrance to my neighborhood. Boulder Vista is where I had lived ever since I had moved from Philadelphia, so I had the street plans almost memorized by this point. I arrived in my driveway shortly after, to which Jordan once again looked up towards me. "And your parents are chill with this?" Jordan asked.
