Scenario -A Tribe Called Quest

RAKIM:

Interstate 20 Westbound: Atlanta, Georgia

"Don't you think that was a little dramatic?" Miles asked as we sped away from the city. I shook my head "no", being to concentrating on going 95 mph to speak. Miles huffed, "What if he ends up calling someone else like Nayvadius or Montero or someone?"

I turned onto the off-ramp, "I know damn well that Montero don't have a car, and do you really think that Nayvadius would drive all the way out here? He too lazy for that shit, man." Miles checked his phone, "That's true, but whatever, it don't change the fact that I still feel guilty as hell for leaving him a long ass way away from home."

I stopped at a red light, and turned to face Miles. "Miles, look, this is gonna be good for both Jordan and Symere, ok? It's gonna allow them to interact with one another for the first time in awhile, and that's something that they both need to keep their lil' boat afloat." Miles scowled at me, "I think you mean, keep their 'ship' afloat." I laughed, and shook my head. Miles huffed again, "Lil' Boat, what the fuck?" he muttered.

I gave my phone to Miles, and instructed him to text Jordan that Symere was gonna call him, and that it was important that he pick him up. "Alright, it reads: 'Jordan, I am madly in love with you; I wish to fulfill my sexy, lesbian, anime fantasy with your scrumptious penis-" "The real message?" I interrupted. "Fine," Miles scoffed, "it reads: 'Jordan, Symere is going to call you in the next couple of minutes, and it's important that you do exactly what he asks you to do'. Is that good?" I quickly glanced over at my phone as I made a left turn, "Yeah, that's good. Send it."

The small noise notifying that the message was sent played, and not more than thirty seconds later, Jordan responded with "Ok?".

"He seems confused, Rakim." Miles announced sarcastically. I rolled my eyes, "He'll understand it whenever Symere calls him." I pulled into Miles' neighborhood while saying this, and screeched to a halt outside his front yard.

"I will inform you about how operation Lil' Boat goes tomorrow." I told Miles, dapping him up as he stepped out of the car. "Sounds good, I'll see you then."

JORDAN:

"You owe me big time, Symere." I said, hanging up the phone. I shoved my phone in the pocket of my jeans and sat up off of the air mattress. Caleb and Travis both sat up from laying on Caleb's bed, putting down each of their blunts.

"Caleb, I need the Cadillac." I asked. Caleb rolled his eyes, obviously stoned. I wasn't gonna let him drive me to Atlanta under the influence, and it was somewhat obvious that Travis was in an even worse condition than that of Caleb. "Caleb?" I asked again.

"Sureeeeeee takeeeee itttttt anddddd donnnn't hit anyyyyytingggg." he drilled on, as he tossed me the car keys. I dapped both of them up, as I ran out the door and into the garage. There sat the Cadillac, in all of its 16 foot-long glory. I jumped in, cranked the keys, and watched as the ancient beast growled to life. I had never had my own car before, as we barely had enough money to get by in Charlotte, never mind enough for me to have my own car. The only thing I drove was the Taurus wagon, which was our family's one car, but even then, me driving it was scarce. So while I did have my license, I never really drove all that much.

This was incredibly prevalent when I automatically had to get used to Georgia speed limits, which were surprisingly much lower than those of North Carolina, which I was never really used to in the first place. I wasn't really looking where I was going, and sort of drove over the curb while taking a right-hand turn out of the neighborhood and towards the interstate. The other thing I had to get used to was how fucking long this thing was. The hood sloped down way too far, and the rear end of the car was much longer than I had imagined. This, inadvertently, lead to me cutting off a couple of people on the interstate, which was brought to my attention by flashers, horns, and pissed off southerners screaming at me from their rolled down windows.
