JORDAN:
EIGHT DAYS LATER:
Lithia Springs High School: Mableton, Georgia
The first week turned out to be a relatively easy one. Although the first day was more or less, chaotic and frantic, the rest of the week went off without a hitch, per say. I continued to stay within my realms of friends, sitting with Travis and Caleb at lunch, observing them get stiffies over Summer. Whenever I saw him in the hallway, I was always sure to at least greet Symere, wether it be long or short.
"Goddamn," I would think to myself, trying not to stare, "why his ass so fat?"
Of course, having a fat ass wasn't a bad thing in my opinion, but it just stuck out to me in a different way with Symere. For his height, he had a huge ass; I could only imagine what it would be like shoving my dick in it, listening to him yelp. Oh my god, it would be so hot
He seemed to be chill with me, so I guess we were friends, but, I don't know. We still didn't sit together at lunch, and I caught him sneaking a few stares at me from the same table he was sitting at before, which I, respectively, returned.
"So," Travis spoke to both Caleb and I, "Lithia Springs is playing North Cobb this Friday night; it's a home game. Are y'all down to go?" I nodded excitedly, which Caleb reluctantly did as well. High school football games had always had a special place in my heart. I know it wasn't my job to be saying that they changed my life, because I wasn't a football player myself, but the whole experience was just somewhat of a euphoric thing to me.
Everything from the bright Friday night lights, to the roars that arose from the student section, and the inevitable win or defeat that my school would obtain made me excited at the thought. "Oh shit," Travis said, "I forgot that Jordan hasn't been to a LS game." I looked around confused, as both of them started to smirk at me.
"Cuh," Caleb told me, while putting his arm around me, "these games are wild, and I feel like you'll love them." I looked at him confused, "Like, drive-by wild?" They looked at each other, and laughed, as I flashed back to my time in Charlotte.
Sugar Creek was never the best place to live, and it certainly wasn't any different when I had lived there. Of course, the bad things poured into the high school, which had climaxed with its worst event yet, with someone driving by the football field, and firing a couple of rounds into the air.
I remember the stampede, and the loud clanging of the cold, metal stands, but most of all, I remember the sound of the ear-piercing echo that emanated from the barrel. It still manages to give me shudders to this day, and makes me cringe when I look back on it.
"Nah, not usually, but don't count it out." Travis replied, "In all seriousness, they're hella fun though, I'm not gonna let you not pull up."
"Admit it, Travy, the only reason you wanna go on Friday night is so you can go and tryna get with Summer's fine ass." Caleb proclaimed. "Fine, you wanna play that?" Travis retorted, "You just wanna go on Friday night so you can go buy some dope and get higher than the clouds!"
Caleb grabbed my dreads, and pulled my head close to his, and said, "No, I want to go so my little cousin can have some fun." I broke my dreads free of his grip, "Are you forgetting the fact that imma year older than you?" I told him with a stern voice. "Nah not forgetting," he said, "just disregarding."
