TESS PARKER'S LIFE was destroyed the moment those bombs blew up the asteroid, Agatha 616. She'd had it all before, a picture perfect family, fantastic friends and calm life in the suburbs, but all that had disappeared in an instant. As soon as cold blooded monsters popped up and started killing everyone, her family packed up and went searching for a bunker to live out the rest of their days. However, life is never that simple. In the end, only Tess made it to the bunker, covered in blood and traumatised from watching her parents die. The others found her and brought her inside, where she found her new family, living in hiding for the next seven years.
That is until she reluctantly volunteers to travel with Joel Dawson, who wants to reunite with his ex-girlfriend 83 miles away on the surface where monsters ruled the Earth.
