niki pov:

"i promise im not all that bad" i shook my soon to be coworkers hand

"i know i know its just out companies our basically against each other so its kinda weird" she said

"yeah i get it"

"alright ill be off call me if youd like" she left the building while i waved her goodbye

i heard a ring from my pocket, oh sapnap

"hey sap" i said through the phone

"hi niki- ok so did you get the contract signed?"

"yeah yeah dont worry im good at these things trust me"

"alright we really need this i dont think we could fight dream alone.. this is coming from one of his ex-best friends"

"sapnap. i promise you no matter what he does to us, were gonna win in the end"

"thanks niki, oh shit sorry i gotta go-" he quickly hung up the call

i checked the time 11:42

"i should be going home soon" i said to myself. i heard a faint vibrate from behind me

"whos there" i said looking in that direction

"no one" someone said in a fake deep voice, i saw a little brown hair and goggles

"karl?" i questioned

"sorry niki just doing my job.. making sure no one gets in trouble with puffy" karl popped up from behind the desk

"i get it, ill be heading home soon though need a ride or something?"

"nah im fine i live near here anyways"

"alright well see you"

i looked outside it was raining unfortunately, though i think i didnt bring the car so

"hey karl is there anyway i could got to the roof?" i asked him

"yeah heres a spare key" he threw a key at me then went down the elevator, i caught the key thankfully. i went up the stairs and opened the door to the roof

"glad i made a hood with this oufit" i said to myself, i spread my wings and jumped off. the rain against my body, the cold wind through hair i love this feeling "never gets old" i mumbled to myself

i flew over to my house and knocked on the door hoping one of my roommates or my brother would answer

"NIKI" she started "your soaking, come in what if you catch a cold or some shit"

"ill be fine minx, im not that weak"

"ok? you could still get sick"

"i promise ill be fine"

"alright well at least change out of your clothes.. theyre wet" she looked away as she said that

"fine ill be in the bathroom could you get me some clothes please please please minx"

"only if you take a shower also"

"fine by me"

minx walked over to our shared room. our other roommate, minx and i decided to get this house after our school work. yeah we could buy a new one but its fine like this unless we get our address leaked we'll stay here

i headed over to the bathroom and took off my cape hood thingy? im not sure what it was, i waited for minx i was only in a whiteish button up and my black pants

"yeah yeah i got it will" minx shouted "here you g-" she closed the door quickly

"niki what the actual fuck"

"wha- OH GOD IM SORRY"

"yeah well" she opened the door a little and gave me the clothes while looking away "tell me next time"

i locked the door

"im sorry-" i said

"just go take your showe- I AM NOT FUCKING RED WILBUR"

~time skip (im sorry i dont want to describe nikis shower)~

i headed out of the bathroom with the clothes minx got me. my sleeping shirt, a black hoodie thats really big on me, and some sweatpants. i went over to the bickering minx and wilbur

"i do not have a cru-" minx looked at me "oh hiii niki"

"hey minx- im sorry again" i scratched the back of my neck, it helps me calm down

"its fine" minx said "also the hoodie your wearing is mine, i couldnt find anything else that was long sleeved sorry"

"dang smooth minx" wilbur said

"shut your ass"

"oh well uh no need to apologise and how is that smooth will?"

"oh well you see here minx has a-" the rest was muffled because minx put her hand over his mouth

"no reason hes just joking" she said in sort of a panic

minx gave wilbur a side glare while i was still a bit confused

"ok i got it minx geez" will said finally being able to take minx's hand off his mouth

"well niki you could keep that hoodie if you want it i dont mind" minx said looking away from me again

"oh thanks minx sure ill keep it"

"when are yall gonna become a couple?" wilbur asked

i a little blushed at the question

"when you shut the hell up" minx said also a bit red

"do we have any food?" i asked trying to change the subject

"no but we do have some stuff for a sandwich if youd like to fix yourself one" wilbur said "moving on why are you guys red? its a little bit but- was it cause of my question???" he over exaggerated a bit

"sandwiches? here come with me minx lets get ourselves one" i pulled minx away from that conversation

"so.." i started while minx pulled out ingredients for a sandwich "minx uh first off im sorry again, second what were you guys talking about when i was gone?"

minx stopped doing everything for 3 seconds then said "uh- well yknow just.. love life"

"oh well alright hows wilburs love life then?" i asked

"its very bland" minx said "like mayo" she pulled out the mayo when she said that, i let out a small laugh

"anyways niki help me here im not a chef and you know that"

"wheres ranboo by the way?" i asked when we finished our sandwiches

"sleeping, he has starts the uh hero school soon doesnt he?"

"oh yeah ill drive him there tomorrow"

"doesnt will also have a brother thats going there tomorrow?" minx asked

"ill drive both of them tomorrow then" i said "i should be sleeping now then it is 12:46, wait 12:46??? uh night minx ill be sleeping"

i walked over to me and minxs shared room and slept
