chapter 10

Bellamy

Murphy had a week to live and I'm guessing he wants to spend it with Clarke.

I walked into his tent to ask if he wanted to go on a trip to the lake.

He was sleeping beside Clarke both looking happy when they were with each other.

"Hey Bellamy" Murphy said sleepily.

"Hey murp" I said sitting on the corner of his bed.

"What you doing here" he asked.

"I wanted to see if you wanted to go down to the lake with the lads"

"Sure Clarke has to work today" Murphy said gazing over at Clarke.

"Em I'm naked so I'll meet you when I'm dressed" he said .

"You get lucky last night"

"Yes" he said smiling at Clarke.

Murphy came out of the tent fully dressed and a backpack hanging off his back.

"You okay" I asked him seeing the puffy red eyes which slanted his eyes

"I don't want to die Bellamy ,I love  Clarke and last night I had a dream where me and Clarke had kids "he said choking on the word kids.

I hugged him and walked out camp looking back I seen Clarke coming out of the tent her eyes like his were red and puffy

He sat down on a rock when we got their the sun made the ground hot and the water luke warm.

"You want to talk" I said disliking the quiet tension.

"What if when I'm dead Clarke forgets about me " he whispered.

I Sat down on the flat rock beside him the rock was warm.

"I don't think she'll forget about you and I'll make sure she doesn't" I said .

"Your a good friend Bellamy " he said smiling.

"What do you want to do" I asked him .

"Spend time with those I love " he sniffed.

Clarke

I walked out of the dropship heading towards Murphy's tent.

I was tackled from behind and picked up getting twirled round .

I was dropped when I was face to face with Murphy .

He kissed me our tongues far from dancing .

"I missed you " he said.

"I missed you too"I said before getting picked up by Murphy.

I took off my shirt and Murphy closed the tent flap.

I hurried off my trousers almost as if they were fire.

I pushed Murphy down onto the bed climbing onto his lap .

Our lips met giving our love a new spark.

1 week later

The grounders took a hold of Murphy .

It was blurred and too be honest I hated it I just wanted to be in Murphys arms but instead I was being held back by miller and Octavia.

I broke down I hated life , I hated myself and I wouldn't mind dying right now.

Miller held me in his arms hushing me like a child.

He shouted "I love you Clarke"

"I love you too" I screamed and a minute later his piercing scream shattered me.

I dropped down onto my knees desperately trying to find a knife.
