Everyone likes some good old interviews. Well, anyone but the people being interviewed, really.
I imagine it was so uncomfy for Agnetha to be asked about her butt all the time :/
But, lo and behold, some ABBA interviews that are awkward, some that are actually nice, and most importantly, interviews that I'd recommend!
Sveriges Magasin, 1977
This is honestly my fav. They just seem so chill when they're in their homeland, and speak their own language! It was probably much more relaxing than having to answer a bunch of questions in a foreign language. And they answer a bunch of more serious questions, about fans and media and stuff.
Dick Cavett meets ABBA
Pt. 1.
Pt. 2.
Pt. 3.
I like these interviews because they're just so damn awkward.
It's so funny to watch both ABBA and Dick Cavett struggling to find a topic, then when they do, they don't know what the hell to say about it!
I love awkward ABBA interviews, and you can see in some how uncomfortable the members really were.
I also love the performance they did at this show, especially when they sang Me And I.
10th anniversary interview
This one I like without a specific reason. It's a nice interview, celebrating ABBA's ten years! Nothing much, but it's still nice.
A few laughs here and there, and an overall chill atmosphere. You can kinda sense that it's the end, though, which is a bit sad :(
These are the three interviews I list as my favourite, and if you're a new fan, I highly recommend these!
Interviews are good if you want to get to know the people better. The good and honest interviews, of course, not the tense, commercial ones like the bunch of press conferences from Australia '77.
If you have any other recommendations, I could make another chapter on this! If ya don't, see you next time! 💕
