Peter was the Alpha of the "Night Walkers" pack. He at a time was an esteemed leader, well as stated "at a time". For a short period while he ruled, every omegas in the village were having miscarriages. It was a strange occurrence, it was as though the DNA of the mated were not coexisting and assisting with the procreation. It was causing a sudden uproar in the pack, to the extent that his pack assumed it was the location that he led them to live in. Peter didn't see how the location was causing the abnormal miscarriages. Even though he didn't see the point in the big movement he allowed it. It was his best bet to please his people and possibly fix the issue.

The "Night Walkers" officially moved, and his people were happy.

Peter had bought a land and had worked with the pack to create the main house. Normally after creating the main house each family house is built as a team. It was how it has always been, it was the way of the Night Walkers. The miscarriages gradually lessened. The pack began growing and so was its name.
Peter had no mate, he never sought for one or even paid any mind to that little detail in his life. He had a name for himself and all the neighboring packs knew him. He was kind but a force to be reckoned with. His pack was all he needed, their success and joy was his joy.

"Pete!" Joel called out

Peter was using the ax to split the now damp wood into smaller chunks. After splitting the last wood he answered. "Give me a minute!"

Peter brushed his hands against his jeans pants and wiped off the sweat that hung on his brows. He walked to the porch where Joel his beta was standing.

"What's going on?" Peter asked

Joel had a toothy grin on his face, he gave a brotherly smack on Peter's sweaty frame and both began to chuckle.

A twinkle of a joy shone through Joel's eyes

"Anna's pregnant Pete" Joel said

Peter could hear the relief in his beta's voice, his beta was mated to an omega as most of his village was.

Now it was Peter's turn to smack Joel but instead he pulled the less taller built frame into a hug. He patted on Joel's back and Joel began to sob.

He knew how hard it had been for everyone, Joel wasn't the first to express gratitude. So he smiled. "Don't get soft on me Joe" Joel sniffled and got himself together.

"Shud up" was his retort

Peter was proud he made his decision, it was definitely for the best. He and Joel got into the house and both drank some beer. They needed to determine how they were going to extend the main house.

                                                                Cavete

It was as though time had stopped.

"WAKE UP!" Tyn growled

Peter's wolf abruptly forced a change, his skin expanded and his brutal transformation  tore his skin apart. A massive brown wolf was the only evidence that he was there. Tyn released a guttural growl all he could smell was blood. Tyn thrashed about and crashed out the house window but was greeted with the pack residents lifeless bodies torn apart and laying about.

Peter's Pack was massacred, everyone brutally torn apart. limps hanging everywhere, blood seeping into the soil of the forest.

It didn't take that much time for  what appeared to be  Humans to be involved,  cop cars made its way to the scene. The village was surrounded, Peter had wanted to be wise and stay in the form of Tyn but he had a quick change of mind and Tyn released him.

He was finally surrounded and cuffed and brought back to the scene he had unconsciously left.

"I'm Rodrick" a tall black man said under his breath besides Peter. Peter was no longer in Tyn's form he was naked and had been handcuffed. A large clothe was used to cover him slightly. He was the sole living witness left in the village.  "I'm of the Star Light pack" Rodrick continued. Peter was not paying any mind to what the young man was saying. All he could hear was Tyn's  voice raging of his failure.

He had failed his pack.

"Do you smell that?" Rodrick asked. Peter caught the words of the man and took in a large breath of air. The smell was confusing "I don't understand" Peter responded.

"Exactly" Rodrick stated pulling a cigarette pack from his back pocket, he  pulled out a cigarette and lit it, he inhaled the drug and breathed it out. The stench mixed itself with the present smell of blood.

"Looks like our old friends are back at it again" Rodrick stated a nasty grin ripped itself across Rodrick's face. Peter knew from the moment Rodrick got out of his car, that he was a were. In fact he noticed that majority of the cops were "weres".

Peter stood tall, he could not understand what was going on. "Wh.. what do you mean, old friends?" Rodrick took a long drag of his cigarette and finally dropped it , lifting his feet up he carefully pressed down on the cigarette killing it.

"I can't say for certain what species they are, But the humans call them Aliens"

"What do you mean?" Peter questioned confused and bewildered.

he had shuddered unconsciously as the wind blew at him, he was cold.

" You're asking the wrong questions, Peter" Rodrick responded

Rodrick turned abruptly and pushed Peter into the car, he got in the front seat and began to drive. Peter felt he had finally ran mad.

The pain in his head only increased as Tyn writhed within him.

An alpha who had failed his pack should have never been a leader.
