"I'll call daddy and we'll sort all of this out. I promise," (22)

"What are we even doing here?

"Waiting on the bomber," Kai said calmly.

"What? I thought you said it was dangerous to be at the same place!"

"It is but this might be our only chance. They'll be here... I'm sure of it,"

"How are you going to find him?"

"By watching. Look around the room and tell me who looks suspicious," he subtly lifted his head towards the rest of the room.

Amira looked around and didn't see anything out of the ordinary... apart from this hell hole called a restaurant.

"I don't know what I'm looking for,"

"Try again," Kai said, "and this time do it slowly. Analyze each person and you'll get your answer,"

Amira exhaled and looked around again. There was at least ten people inside the restaurant including them. To her right, there was a couple drinking a cocktail while waiting for their food to arrive. To her left, there was a mother and presumably her son sitting at the table; drinking soup while chatting.

In front of her, there were two girls giggling away while taking selfies. Amira didn't get why they would take pictures in a place like this but to each their own.

Behind her, however, was a man and a woman sitting at separate tables. The woman was busy typing on her phone while the man kept looking at the door while his foot bounced up and down.

"Well, maybe that guy seems a little suspicious but maybe he's waiting on someone?"

"Or..." Kai dragged on while closing the menu, "he could be waiting on a signal."

"A signal?"

"I think he's waiting on something. I don't know what it is but he's waiting on it," Kai looked up at the entrance. Whatever it was... it could be any minute now.

"You might be wrong about this one..."

Just then, a delivery man came in with a few boxes on a trolley. At first, Kai thought it was nothing but when he subtly looked at the man behind them, he got up and went towards the kitchen area.

"This is it," he said to Amira. "Be ready,"

"Ready for what?" She frantically looked around — afraid to be blown away again.

"To run but first we have to intercept these deliveries,"

Getting up from the table, Kai walked over to delivery man and Amira watched in disbelief. She had no idea what he was going to do and she was definitely not ready to run from a bomb.

Suddenly, it seemed as if Kai tripped and fell on the boxes; knocking them over. The first two boxes consisted of vegetables and other produce but the last box... the last box had two clear bottles of fluid, some wires and a cellphone.

"Oh my God," was the first thing out of Amira's mouth. Then suddenly she saw the man run from the direction of the kitchen.

So this is what Kai meant...

Hot on his trail, Amira ran after the man—not thinking of what she might do if she actually caught him. In her peripheral, she saw Kai getting up to chase after her.
