I HAD A NORMAL childhood like anyone else's in my neighborhood
Two very caring parents, who worked hard to provide for their only daughter.
A school where all my friends studied at, all coming from the same middle schools and preschools, everyone knew everyone.
It was a safe neighborhood, a place where people acted and lived life normally.
Until it wasn't...

I never looked like my parents...
My mother had dark hair and blue eyes, while my father had dirty blonde hair with silver eyes.
All the people that knew us thought I was just a mix of both my parents, but I never understood how a mix of those two could create a daughter with silver blond hair and hazel green eyes. Would have been more possible if not for the fact that the hazel color in my eyes were a mix of green and brown.
My parents always told me I had gathered traits from maybe one or two of my grandparents.
It was easier to believe that lie when I was little.
