After some time hanging out together, Takemichi and Hinata were seen on top of a building with a few other couples looking at fireworks. Takemichi reached out and grabbed a hand, thinking it was Hinata. He looked to the side to see Naoto
Takemichi:Huh?
Naoto:H-Hi
Takemichi:Naoto? What're you doing here?
Naoto:No one was at home, and I saw the fireworks so I thought people would be up here
*ZAP*
Before Takemichi could answer, he was zapped back to the future. He woke up feeling confused. To his surprise, (Y/N) woke up as well
Naoto:Takemichi-kun, (Y/N)
Takemichi:Damn it, I came back!
"Yeah, but why the hell am I here?"
Naoto:Does that mean you were able to go back to the past? So shaking hands really is the trigger
Takemichi:Yeah, but me and (Y/N) didn't even shake hands, we weren't even in the same place. I shook hands with you from the past
"It's probably a save triangle or something"
Takemichi:A... save triangle?
"Mhm, sure. We can probably come back and leave by shaking hands with the people we've saved. And I probably came back because both people can't be in different times"
Takemichi:I guess that makes sense
Naoto:I now understand everything. So how'd things go? You came back because something changed, right?
Takemichi:Well..
*TIMESKIP*
Naoto:You shook my hand by mistake!? You need to take this seriously! What about you (Y/N)? Surely it had to have been a c-coincidence right? You did something, right!?
".........I was kickin' it with Draken, we kicked some dudes' ass if that makes the situation better?"
Naoto:*sigh*There's something we know now because of your second trip to the past. Your ability to time travel allows you to return twelve years into the past. For example, today, if you were to go back into the past, you'd go back to today twelve years ago, and if you go back there after spending a week here, a week could've also passed there. While you two were back in the past, your bodies were in suspended animation
"So we were like....dead?"
Takemichi:Dead!?
Naoto:It means that only your empty shell remained here in the present
Takemichi:Phew, so that's how it works
Naoto:It's very dangerous, so whenever you're going to time travel again, we'll make sure you're both in my room
"What if we die in the past?"
Naoto:One of two things could happen. One, you will be brought back to the present with no consequence. Or two, you will die here as well, erasing you from existence. But that's besides the point, how did the mission to keep Sano and Kisaki ever meeting go?
"Well, we met Mikey"
Naoto:Mikey? Oh, you mean Sano
Takemichi:But listen, Naoto! Mikey may be a delinquent, but he was actually a really good guy.
