𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞

first day of summer coming in, ahh it's nice to be out of school knowing i won't see him kinda hurts. i've always watched him from a far i didn't want to get caught up in what he was getting himself into.

"hey [name]...ARE YOU WRITING IN THE BOOK AGAIN!" your friend lynn snatched your journal away from your hands lifting it in the air as she started to read it out loud

"LYNN STOP!" you smacked the back of her head as you hear the footsteps of yuuta coming close

"[name]? are you okay?" you stood there he's never talked to you once nor did you introduce yourself, you looked down not watching to make eye contact because of the thing behind him

you didn't know what it was but it was friendly with yuuta...and yuuta only. you witness that when you saw it come out from the classrooms storage cabinet attacking the students hurting yuuta.

you never forgot that day, it was a day you couldn't forget

"yeah don't worry about me yuuta" you walked off with lynn calling your name down the hall waving your journal in the air

"[name]!! come back!" lynn running towards you as she hands you your journal.

"yeah um thanks" you grabbed the journal walking off to the back of the school where it was quiet and not many people passed by, well everyone but one. yuuta, you didn't even noticed you were always in the same spot around the same time

you considered it your area, your spot it was yours something you can actually have to yourself

"[name]?" you looked up as you heard your name, it scared you. nobody really asked for you unless it was for notes in class or the homework

"hmm" you hummed as you slowly closed your journal and set it down putting it behind your back

"oh it was you, i thought so" you wanted to lift your head up, you wanted to know who was talking why are they acting like they knew you "well can i sit here?" you set your hand down on the grass area as if you were saving it for someone

"oh sorry yeah sure" you finally looked up to see who it was and only to see it was yuuta. you were shocked. the person you were watching from a far coming to sit next to you what have you done that god choose you for a miracle

"i just wanted fresh air and noticed you were here, i didn't think anyone comes back here" you flinched and turned your head slightly then saw it again and you decided to keep your head down

"are you okay?" yuuta tried to pat you on the back till you slapped his hand and flinched when you saw it coming towards you

"IM SORRY" you yelled as you looked straight at it and ran off leaving yuuta shocked you can see it too, he thought he was the only one who can see her and he chased you down he wanted to know more

"please stop following me!" you yelled at him while running down the football field then crouching down putting your knees to your chest as your bury your face in your palms

"hey i'm not going to hurt you" yuuta tried to reach his hand out to you, you were hesitant at first but then did it, you took his hand and apologized to it/her

"hey i wanted to ask you can see rika too!" he seemed happy, too happy to be exact. you stepped back and nodded slowly

"i thought i was the only one!" you rose your head up quickly and shook your head "i thought it was normal..." you set your head back down

"really? well so far it is just us two who can see her" you smiled a little bit at the fact you had a special ability not many have

"well let's have lunch together?" you nodded at him as he smiled then ran off to go to class

you knew you couldn't afford missing this class, you needed all the credit you can get. the day felt long they just kept going it was like it was never ending.

"when is this class over" you mumbled while drawing on the little corner of your journal

"ms. [name] come to the board and solve this problem for the class" you hated math because of the teacher, her way of teaching was weird you had to learn on your own

"x = 6" you said out loud then set your head on your palm and continued to draw

"well, can...can you come up and solve it" you got up from the chair and solved the problem on the board, people always called you the "burned out student" and boy they weren't wrong

"thank you ms. [name]" you nodded and set your head down looking outside the window falling alseep in class.

"-ke up [name]...hey!" someone shook you till you woke up

"wait..." you pushed them back wanting to sleep in a little more "stop shaking me, i'm up i'm up" you stood up having drool on the side of your mouth, wiping it off you see yuuta laughing

"HEY!?" you aggressively wiped your mouth then turning away grabbing your items in embarrassment

"hey wait, [name] waitt!!" yuuta grabs onto your backpack pulling you back almost having you fall on your butt

"hey watch it!" you snapped at yuuta for grabbing onto you so suddenly

"sorry sorry" he laughed as he was trying to apologize, you rolled your eyes as you tried to fight with yuuta onto letting you go home

"let me go! i'm tired let me go home" you complained as you crossed your arms then suddenly fell "AYE!?"

"sorry" he smiles nervously as he was scratching the back of his head you got up dusting yourself off after he dropped you

"why am i here?" you looked around not knowing where you were but you were in the school that's for sure

"tadaa!" yuuta says as he shows what he was hiding behind him, he couldn't really hide it though

"rika?" you set your head down, you couldn't look up as much as you wanted too you couldn't

"hey look up she's not going to hurt you i promise" he's smile so big and it made you comfortable, you slowly lifted up your head seeing her...

"rika?" you said her name slowly as you took a step towards her then said her name multiple times after that. "you're....you're pretty up close" you stuck out your hand and caressed her and smiled

from that day forward...you, rika and yuuta were inseparable. you guys would be together all the time even though people couldn't see rika you guys could and that's all that mattered to you guys

well that was until you found others like you guys...

"helloo yuuta okkotsu and [name] [lastname], please come with me and yes rika too"

both of you didn't know what to do but follow the suspicious white haired, blindfolded man. most likely he knew more about rika then the both of you and yuuta knew
