"I am sorry to bring you this horrible news" Lan Sizhui bowed

"Uncle...what's going on" Jin Ling was bewildered and confused what were they talking about

Jiang Cheng looked at Jin Ling in the eye and placed a hand on his shoulder "Jin Ling it goes like this..."

After telling everything....

"So...we...we...were wrong...about him....then what we did...no...we.." Jin Ling mumbled while his whole body was trembling out of horror and shock "It's impossible..it's not true...no...but those men"

"I know we all did horrible things which were against our will and hurt him which is why we need to go after Jin Guangyao to clear Wei Qianbei's name" Jingyi placed his hand assuring the younger one

"I don't even know what to believe in anymore...my head is becoming dizzy" Jin Ling rubbed his head 

"Sect Leader Jiang, is Sect Leader Jin here or in Lanling??" Sizhui asked the sect leader

"You just missed him..he just left that damn bastard!!!" Jiang Cheng slammed his fist on the throne.

"Did he mention anything about where he's going???" Sizhui asked

"He mentioned that he's heading back to Lanling Jin" Jiang Cheng replied full of anger

"What do we do now????" Jin Ling exclaimed in frustration

"We should all go to Gusu Lan Sect right now" Jiang Cheng ordered as he stormed outside the room angrily leaving the three dumfounded and in fear of what's going to happen.

"Is he...gonna be alright??" Jingyi asked quietly to Jin Ling who looked at the two of them with a nervous look

"I'm not..really sure" Jin Ling muttered to them before the three of them hurriedly followed Jiang Cheng to Cloud Recesses ignoring the looks coming from the Jiang disciples.

....In Gusu Cloud Recesses...

"Wangji you're back" Lan Xichen was glad to see him alright but his face started to drop seeing his brother's disappointed look "Is he.."

"Not there he's gone" Lan Wangji answered with a depressing sound

"He has hidden himself probably far away from the cultivating world. He knew that we would try to find him and one of the places we would search would be in Burial Mounds" Lan Qiren commented "Do you have any other ideas where he would be??"

Lan Wangji slowly shook his head "It's all my fault...it's all my fault"

"It's not only your fault, all of us are at fault. Stop blaming yourself" Xichen gently told his baby brother who kept on shaking his head "I hurt him..I betrayed him..all my fault" 

The three Lans were discussing about how to apologise to Wei Wuxian and deal when Jiang Cheng walked in the room with Sizhui, Jin Ling and Jingyi right behind him

"Sect leader Jiang" Lan Xichen addressed the man who looked very cranky at the moment 

"Is there any information about Wei Wuxian!!!" He asked them "Have you found his location??"

The three Lans sighed and looked down at the floor or avoided making eye contact indicating that they were not able to get any information.

"Nothing?? Nothing at all??" Jin Ling asked them

"Not even in Burial Mounds? In that stupid cave of his?" Jiang Cheng asked 

Sect Leader Nie Huisang entered the room with a concerned face "huhu...I came as fast as I can and brought along some of my sect's disciples...is it true about Wei Xiong???"

They nodded confirming what they found out and the truth behind all of this

"I knew that something was wrong...I didn't think that this would happen" Nie Huaisang lamented and hit himself on the forehead using his fan

"Damn that bastard! He tricked us all!" Jiang Cheng hissed while clenching on Zidian hard "That motherfucking lying son of a *******" 

"First we need to deal with Jin Guangyao...we cannot allow that man to continue doing whatever he's planning to do next" Lan Qiren said while sipping his tea

"Mn" Lan Wangji nodded agreeing to his judgement 

"He's back at Lanling Jin. It's best we deal with him first sooner the better or else we'll regret everything. It's time to end this and find out the truth out of all of this." Jiang Cheng pointed out the fact. 

"We can't act reckless, who knows what that man could pull off from his sleeves." Nie Huaisang commented while fanning himself "Jin Guangyao is a cunning, clever man, we cannot underestimate him..who knows who else is working for him as a spy."

"We need a plan to outsmart him"

"But how do we outsmart a man who is skilled in talking his way out, lying to people easily and is the current Chief Cultivator??" Lan Jingyi asked everyone in the room who was pondering about that.

"I can't believe I'm going to say this but if Wei Wuxian was here, he would probably have a plan to do this" Jiang Cheng admittedly commented

This surprised the juniors as they gave questioning looks to all of the adults in the room

"Jiu jiu...what are you talking about??" Jin Ling asked his uncle who refused to give an answer

'Wei Ying is smart.." Hanguang Jun answered

"Well it's true..he created the compass of evil and spirit attraction flags" Jingyi commented

"But it was much more than that" Xichen this time answered "Wei Gongzi was a master of the six arts. He had one of the highest grades here during the Cloud Recesses guest lectures and was one of the key strategist during the Sunshot Campaign"

"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" All of the three juniors were shocked to hear this

"He attended the guest lectures??" Jingyi asked while his mouth was hanging wide open 

"Highest grades??"

"A strategist during the war???" Sizhui asked this time 

"Just how much have all of you been lying to us?" Jin Ling bluntly asked them "What more lies have you all been feeding us??"

"Why would all of you lie to us about his origins??" Sizhui sounded so betrayed by the fact that all of these people kept the truth away from them.

All of the adults gave no answer except for Nie Huaisang who fanned himself "We'll deal with that later but we need to focus first in defeating Jin Guangyao and I have a plan to do that"
