The fear seeped through this mans eyes. Not from the people hunting him down, but rather me.
I returned his gaze fully aware what I have now done. I've risked my life for this boy.
Turning around, I could see Noah banging on the clear border. Everyone else had a shocked looked on their face all telling the same story. How did I, Zero, a 17 year old girl, with no training, open up this door?
I returned my gaze back to the boy, and the three others. They had made their way closer to us seemingly taking the distraction as an advantage.
"Who are you?" I whispered, only loud enough for the boy to hear me.
He didn't respond only to look back over his shoulder and walked backwards as the men were face to face with us.
"How'd you do that?" The tallest asked. He was wearing a green sweatshirt, with an odd smiling face mask on hiding his identity.
I only smiled and shrugged.
He got angry, even with a mask you could clearly tell he was mad at how I didn't answer him. He reached for his belt holding his weapons.
As he did so, the feeling overtook again. I don't know how I would describe it. It was like rage, but powerful.
He swung his axe at me, for no other reason other than I was godly.
When he swung his axe, a purple force field went up, block the blow with a loud click. The axe went bouncing off, shocking all five people.
The amount of regret that you could see going through this mans head was very evident.
He held up his hands in surrender, looking over to the younger boy behind me.
"Watch your back Big T" the masked man chuckled, turning to the other two and seemed to flick his head as a symbol to go.
"Wait who the fuck are you, and why are you trying to hurt this guy?" I motioned over to the boy.
He chuckled, muttering the name dream, and walked off as the force field fell, leaving us in the open.
We stood there watching the three boys, walk off into the distant trees of the forest.
I started to walk towards the border, to go back to my home. The boy moved slowly besides me, seemingly to study me and see what I was doing.
I looked at Zeus, who had disappointment, fear, confusion and happiness written on his face.
He nodded, noting for him to open the border for me to walk through.
The border open enough to fit my small body in, making the much taller boy slouch over to fit through the short doorway.
After we walked in, the border closed leaving us on our home side.
Once that was settled, I saw three of what seemed to be the boys friends walk over to him.
One was about his hight, wearing a purple sweatshirt, with a slightly darker shade of blonde hair from the blue eyed male.
The other one was slightly taller than me, standing at about 5'6, with brown hair. He wore a simple green sweatshirt, with an embroidered bee.
The last boy stood at what I could only guess 6'5. He was literally a foot and a half taller than me. He wore a half black and half white mask, and a plain black sweatshirt on top.
The thing all the boys had in command was they carried a large backpack, and seemed to care about the blonde.
I watched for a couple more seconds in awe as they hugged him, glad he was ok.
