It's been two weeks.

Most days she wonders if time is passing by slowly or quickly. So many things have happened in the past month that the quiet respite was both comforting and unnerving. Still, she was thankful. It was time for people to move on. It was time for them to let him heal.

And she understood – what he meant. If she were in his shoes, she would do everything to protect him as well. So she left with a shared promise that they will see each other again when things are better.

Smiling, she replied "Yes, it was a good day."
