Sam came running into Carlys apartment and her eyes were stung with tears. I immediately ran up to her and said...
F: What happened babygirl?
S: M-my mom h-hurt me a-again.
F: What did she do?
Sam showed me her leg covered in blood. I got freaked out.
F: Oh my god!!! Come here baby.
I cradled Sam in my arms trying to calm her down.
S: I- it hurts really bad!! 🥺
F: I know baby, Carly is gonna bandage your leg ok?
S: Okay. 🥺
Carly got back with the First Aid kit and started cleaning Sam's leg. She cried because of the pain. I just hugged her tightly and cradled her in my arms.
S: It hurts!! 😭
F: I know babygirl, I know. 🥺
Carly: There Sam, your leg should feel better now.
S: Thanks Carly.
My poor babygirl. I wiped her tears away and she smiled. I kissed her on the head and cuddled her, Cause I know she loves that.
F: What did your mom do though?
S: She... She cut me with a kitchen knife...
F: She what?!
Sam started to tear up and I hugged her and told her that everything was gonna be ok.
F: Don't worry babygirl. I'm gonna put an end to this.
S: How? 🥺
F: I've got my ways. 😌
She smiled and fell asleep in my arms. I needed to make a call.
"This is the Seattle Police Department. How can I help you?"
