I really wanna know why, but it doesn't seem like he wants me to actually know. Dammit, Leonel, how can I help if you don't tell me what's bugging you?!

Thank God though, cause after a while he returned to his old self. He was laughing and smiling at Armand's jokes. And they're not forced anymore. They're real. Question is, how did he suddenly become happy again?

Maybe he really was bipolar. If that's the case, I really need to be careful of saying things to him.

Plus, Alex? She's great! I was right, her being my friend is really a good idea. Did you think I didn't know about her attempts to talk to me earlier? I did. I'm just contemplating on trusting her. I was still cautious about things, but she did seem trustworthy. So I took the first step. She was actually pretty shy, oh and humble, the character traits I look for in a friend. She just fits them.

And Armand... He did seem trustworthy too. Plus that humor of his, he was totally a friend material! Even Alex laughs at everything he says. Well... To be honest, even me. You know... He just has that jolly aura around him that makes the people around him smile. I doubted him at first, because, no offense, but he really looked like the perverted stalker type. I caught him staring at me many times! But I guess he's just interested in the new student, much like everyone else here. Oh and that scene with that scaredy-cat Clark just made things hotter. If in the first time they saw me, they just look at me, now they even whisper about. Did they seriously think I couldn't hear them? Well I guess they did, considering they didn't know that I'm a Vampire.

"Hey, guys! Did you know that Leonel here actually kissed his dog on the nose when he was in first grade?!" Armand pointed a fork at Leon accusingly with that infamous grin on his face. And to my laughter and amusement, Leon ended up spitting water on Armand's face. His grin was replaced by a frown but he didn't say anything as we laughed.

"That's what you get for spilling my secrets!" Leon said proudly, his arms crossed and a smirk on his face.

"Hey! It wasn't a secret! Everyone knew about it because you did it in front of everybody!"

I was about to laugh when a familiar pain scratched on my throat, making me whimper as I clamped my hand on my mouth.

Holy crap... Not now... Please not now...

Dammit, bloodlust, why did you have to happen right now?! I don't have blood packets on my bag right now!!

"Natalie? Natalie....Natalie!"

I raised my head to see who called me, and I haven't even seen who it was when I coughed. I held my throat with my right hand and my left hand on my mouth to keep them from seeing my fangs, which were probably elongated right now. Damn.... I need to escape this... I coughed uncontrollably until I felt something wet on my left hand. I removed it and quickly replaced it with my right one. When I took a look at it, I heard my friends gasp.

My hand was wet with blood. As in my whole hand. I looked at it expressionlessly, thinking 'bout what I should do. A vampire's blood is a shade of red that was very close to black, and I don't know if Armand, Alex, and Leon had seen one yet. Although being half human made my blood color a little lighter, it was still too dark to be considered human blood.

Shit.

I looked around me and found Leon and the other two looking at me worriedly. Okay... Maybe they haven't seen blood yet, but the teacher surely has. I can't wait for him to notice Armand being unusually quiet and come here.

As if on cue, I heard footsteps behind me. "Jules! (Armand's last name) Cipher! Joshen! Lithieum! What's happening?!" I froze. As well as the other students. Upon hearing my last name. Oh.... No. Clenching my bloodied fist, I glanced at the teacher who was smirking at me. I recognized him almost immediately.
