We were in Tennessee, We were pretending, I was supposed to pretend to be Klaus's daughter for the ruse,
" Rudy. Rudy! Come on. It's too hot to make me come looking for you" The woman said
"Ready little minx?" Klaus said picking me up in his arms,
I nodded,
He looked at Stefan,
"Be ready," He said
Stefan nodded,
[the bends down and picks up a toy. When she turns around we suddenly appear in front of her.]
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." Klaus said trying to sound american"Can I help you?" The woman asked "Yeah, my car hmm, my car ran out of gas a couple of miles back. Eh I feel like we've been walking forever yours is the first house I come to so I was just hoping I could use your phone?" Klaus said "Don't you have a cell phone?" She asked "Huh, yeah..." Klaus said [Pulls phone from pocket.]
" Battery died.she can't sleep without music," Klaus said looking down at me as I'm still in his arms, each leg on both sides of his hip, as he adjusted me in his arms,
" Look, I promise I'm not a serial killer I just wanna use your phone, my daughter is very tired," He said
So I thought I would play along, setting my head on his shoulder as I blinked slowly, [The woman Sighs.]
"Sure." She said "Soo, We can come in?" Klaus said "No, I'll get the phone and I'll bring it out to you." The woman said [Annoyed.]
" I thought you country folks were supposed to be more trusting." Klaus said dropping the act as he set me down, " I'm from Florida." The woman said confused "Well, that explains it." Klaus said
[He grabs her throat and compels her.]
"Now show me and my daughter a little southern hospitality. Sweet pea." Klaus said
I gulped, I don't ever want to make him angry, I thought
I hesitantly followed behind Klaus fiddling with my finger,
"It's alright little Minx just stay close," He said I guess he could sense my anxiousness,
[we walked In the kitchen another woman is frying food and walks over to the counter with the frying pan.]
" I bet you a hundred dollars that dog ran off to a house with air conditioning." The other woman said
[She turns around and sees the first woman and Klaus entering the kitchen. Klaus is holding the nape of her neck with one hand. The first woman is sobbing.I was a few feet behind Klaus]
"What's going on?" The other woman said "Please don't be alarmed. I was told Ray Sutton lives here." Klaus said "He's almost never here. He's on the road mostly." The other woman said "But I expect he makes it home, once a month." Klaus said
The two women exchange looks,
" That's what I thought. Where is he now?" Klaus said
[She doesn't answer.]
" If I have to make you tell me it's going to be infinitely more painful for you. Hmm." He said
[He smiles.]
[The other woman runs out of the kitchen and opens the front door, but Stefan is standing in the doorway.]
" Aaaah!" The woman screams,
[Klaus and the first woman come up behind her.]
"I love it when they run!" Klaus said smirking [she Gives up.]
"He's in Tolly It's near the border. A bar called Souther Comfort . It's on Highway 41." The other woman said "Thank you my love." Klaus said
[He touches the first woman's hair.]
"Now, may my friend come in?" Klaus asked [Crying.]
"Yes." She whispered
[The other woman looks terrified and Stefan walks in. Klaus pushes the first woman to Stefan.]
"Kill this one quickly." He said
[Looks at the other woman.]
"And make that one suffer. we'll be in the car." Klaus said turning around walking over to me
I looked up at him through my eyelashes,
He picked me up
[Klaus leaves with a grin, with me in his arms and the women are crying.]
As Klaus walked with me in his arms, I feel weird, like very hot, and everything ached, but I didn't mention it,
What's happening? I thought
Klaus sat me on the hood of the car,
"You alright little Minx?" He asked
I nodded,
He placed a hand on my forehead
"You feel a little feverish," He said
"I'm alright," I mumbled
"What are we doing?" I asked looking at him,
"I'm looking for werewolves," He said
"Why?" I asked
"To make more like me, now come on let's get you in the car," He said putting me in the back of the car,
