Eithne's Fear

The dull dead hazel eyes bore into my soul. It's blonde hair almost like mine except mine was a light brown. The skin was exactly like mine.

"Brother" I whimpered.

"Brother?" Tobi asked.

Why? Why is he dead?

"Hey, We found four other bodies" White Zetsu called.

I had broken down. A series of mutters escaped my lips as I rocked back and forth. The 5 dead bodies of my older siblings lay before me.

"Don't worry we were supposed to kill them anyway" Black Zetsu said.

"Black, that's rude" White Zetsu responded in his soft tone.

A hand went on my shoulder and I looked at the person. It was Tobi. His sharingan blazing like fire in his one visible eye. I could see myself in his eye. I looked like a doll that was broken and abandoned. Like a child who was afraid of the dark, calling for its mother that they knew would not respond for she was asleep. Like a person who couldn't do anything.

His gloved thumb wiped at my cheek and I realized that I was crying. He pulled his hand away.

"Thanks..." I muttered.

"Don't mention it..." Tobi replied.

"So if we are done with the caring moment...can we eat them?" Both Zetsu's asked.

"No!" I snapped, crossing my arms.

"And she's back~" Tobi cheerfully said.

A smile escaped my lips at Tobi's antics. He's not that annoying.

"Yes! EITHNE-CHAN IS BACK!" Tobi tackled me into a hug.

I retract my previous statement. I pushed Tobi off of me. Tobi started to whine but I sent him a glare. He shut up and I looked back at the dead bodies of my siblings.

Why were they dead?

I kneeled next to them and examined them carefully. They had minor wounds that they couldn't have died from.

"Why are you doing that?" Both parts of Zetsu asked.

"I'm checking to see their cause of death" I stated.

I sniffed their noses and mouth areas. Not to close but close enough. Immediately I identified the scent.

"They were poisoned" I said, getting up.

"Eh?"

"I said they were posioned" I rolled my eyes.

"By what?" White Zetsu asked, kicking their sides.

"Arsenic. That's a perfect poison except the smell kinda gave it away. Not only that it their is a slight tint in the skin color " I explained.

"What?" Tobi cocked his head to the side.

"Just shut up for now Tobi" I said.

"Eithne is being mean to Tobi!" Tobi cried.

"Who's there?!" We all froze.

Oh shit.

A bark was heard followed by a course of howls.

Damn it. We were caught.

"Hide idiots" I said, going to hide somewhere.

Zetsu disappeared into the ground and Tobi just stood there.

Stupid Tobi!

I ran to him and pushed him out of sight. Immediately I was pinned to the floor by heavy paws. A growl came from the wolf above me, it's fangs bared.

"So...you're their sibling...." A sinister voice said above me.

"Let's take her to...you know who..." Another voice said, grabbing me by my hair.

I saw their face but the one thing imprinted in my mind was those golden eyes.

"Be a good girl and go to sleep for us" Pitch darkness filled my vision but before I was fully knocked out Tobi's concerned eye was visible from his hiding spot.

I mouthed 'Don't...just finish the job...'

And the darkness consumed me. When I awoke to see I was on a metallic platform, tied up and gagged. I could hear metal clashing against metal, gunshots echoing everywhere. The platform started rising up, putting me upwards.

The brightness of the noon light hurt my eyes and the fighting subsided. I saw my friends below me. Lyel's angry eyes glared at her sibling.

"How dare you! You son of a bitch!" Her voice contained anger beyond what I've ever seen.

"If you want this pretty girl to stay alive, I suggest you shut up" Christie said, going onto my platform.

Her blade went against my neck and I winced as a wound was created. Blood dripped from the wound and onto the blade.

Evi was frozen in her state of shock and Lyel seemed to back down though her eyes shine with anger.

My fear...of being used...I'm being used as a weapon against my own friends...
