"You could have left it in your car." Sara shook her head.

"My toiletries are in my suitcase and my clothes for tonight and tomorrow are in my holdall because I will leave those here." Martin shook his head. His sister had always had the most unusual logic. "Either way, I couldn't leave it in my car." Sara quickly placed it all in her room and with her phone in her hand, she walked down the stairs.

"Where is Cookie?" Sara stopped dead in her tracks. That was one question she had not prepared for.

"She's with the family she stays at whenever I have to leave for work. They missed her and I'm fine without her for the weekend." Melissa frowned but slowly nodded. "I'm going for a walk, I won't be much longer than two hours." It wasn't unusual for Sara to be gone for so long whenever she would go on a walk. She loved to hike through the woods surrounding the town she grew up in.

This time, however, she had a different plan. She would take her car up to a spot she hadn't been at in years. It wasn't a long drive and when she arrived, she locked the doors of her car and hiked up the hill. Once she arrived at the point she was looking for, she stopped, sitting down on the blanket she had brought and pulled out her phone to take a picture of her view.

Sara: Look where I am!

Anthoine: It could be me, but that seems a lot like it is Spa-Francorchamps

Anthoine: It could be me, but that seems a lot like it is Spa-Francorchamps.

Pierre: Did you really hike your way up a hill to snap a photo of the track through the trees?

Sara: Yes. :D

Pierre: You seem way too proud of that.

With a roll of her eyes, Sara left the chat with Anthoine and Pierre and called Carlos. They had decided to call at three in the afternoon that Friday and Sara were sticking to her promise.

"Hey." She said with a wide smile when he picked up. His hair was tousled and he was slightly out of breath.

"I'm sorry, I'm almost home. I- better said my trainer slightly misjudged the length of the run he had planned." Sara laughed.

"That's fine, take your time. I'll enjoy myself. I actually brought a book, just in case I didn't feel like going home yet, so it will be fine."

"Thank you. I will call you in about-" he looked at his watch. "fifteen minutes?"

"Once again, take your time. I will still be here in thirty minutes." Carlos thanked her again and ended the call.

It hadn't been the first time she had been there. As a kid, she would always go there with her father on race weekends to catch the tiniest of glimpse of the racing track. The sound would be so loud, they could hear it even from the distance. Sara had never really been bothered by the track and had always found herself more fascinated by the nature around her than the cars roaring in the valley.

After thirteen minutes to be precise, Sara's phone rang and she picked up. Carlos' hair was still sticking to his forehead as he had his towel around his shoulders.

"I'm so sorry." Sara couldn't help but be a bit distracted by the bare toned skin.

"It's fine." She said, forcing herself to look into his dark eyes instead of his chest. He took the towel and dried his hair a bit further, exposing even more skin.

She bit her lip, reminding herself to never go swimming with Carlos as she would probably drown, too distracted by his chest to remind herself to keep swimming.

"How was your run?"

"It was fine, we have to be prepared for the upcoming race weekend. You will be there, so we have to be on our best behaviour."

"I wouldn't expect anything else."

"No pressure." Carlos joked as he pulled a shirt over his head. "Weren't you going to Florida?"

"We are going to surprise her with the tickets tonight at dinner and we are flying tomorrow afternoon." Carlos nodded. "She is going to be so excited." Carlos could help but smile at the excited look in her eyes.

"As are you I see." She blushed slightly. "Do you know what I'm excited about?" Carlos waited for Sara to react and when she shook her head, he took his opportunity. "To see you again." Immediately, Sara's already pinkish cheeks turned even more red, flustered by his comment.

"Well, I can't wait to see you again either." She mumbled.

"That's a good thing. You arrived in Barcelona on Thursday morning right?" Sara nodded. In the late morning on Tuesday, she would arrive back in Belgium, giving her enough time to drive home and wash her clothes before hopping back on a plane to Spain.

"Well then, I think it's best to set the date on Thursday afternoon then." Carlos had a boyish grin on his cheek, knowing very well he was being slightly bold.

"I guess it is."
