A Neko among Crows

Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

On Karasuno High a certain girl laid on a tree branch with her eyes close.

The wind blew lightly teasing the girls' hair and face, making her doze to sleep faster.

"Oi! Hinata you dumbass" a voice suddenly rang in her ear making her twitch.

"Shut up you turd!" another voice spoke. Annoyed, the girl turn her head to look at the commotion below her.

She saw two guys playing volleyball, an orange haired failing at receiving and a raven haired mercilessly spiking at the poor guy.

Pitying the orange hair, she decided to help him, she studied his form and notice some things wrong.

"Fix your form!" she yelled, catching the guy's attention.

"Eh?" "where?" the guys said, surprised who could have shouted.

They then notice a girl standing on a tree branch watching them.

"Oi! Get down from there, that's dangerous!" both Shoyo Hinata and the Tobio Kageyama said worried the girl may fall down.

"Nope, I like the view here" the girl said grinning. "Hey, you might fall down" Hinata said.

"Geez, fine you'll catch me right?" the girl said, and before anyone else can react, she jump down the tree as if she doesn't care at all (she really doesn't).

"Hey!" both guys said and run to catch her, but she already landed on the ground, quite successful since she's uninjured.

"Hey! Are you hurt?" "don't do that again!" both guys chorused checking the girl for injuries.

"I'm fine, it's not that high anyway" the girl shrugs.

"Not high! That was at least like two stories above ground" Kageyama scolded the girl.

"Anyway, you *points at Hinata* your form is wrong, you should move your feet more and your figure must be like this *does the Libero position* and you *points at Kageyama*, you shouldn't spike that hard, he still haven't got the hang of receiving and, you serve such powerful serves, shame on you." the girl scolds both guys.

Kageyama seems to recognize the girl, "wait, don't tell me your that famous prodigy, I thought the rumors of you attending Karasuno were just lies, I can't believe it"

"I quit volleyball after middle school" Keiko said.

"Eh, why? Don't you love volleyball?" Hinata asks

"I only play because I'm good at it, I quit because I'm bored with it, by the way practice of receiving and don't forget what I show you" Keiko said with a bitter smile and walk away.

"I wonder what made her quit, I'm sure she must have enjoyed volleyball" Hinata said curiously.

"I don't know, you really need to know how to receive dumbass" Kageyama said.

"Keiko Natsumi, Keiko Natsumi! Wake up you are in the middle of my class" The teacher yelled at Keiko.

"Hmm~ *yawns*" Keiko woke up, rubbing her eyes only to see the enraged teacher and some of her classmates snickering at her.

"As punishment answer this *points at question on board* or one week detention" the teacher said victoriously.
