Next Day after providing breakfast to Shamita, Bondita went to the Post Office and called Aniruddh.
But unfortunately, it was Bihari who picked up the call.
Bondita: Namoshkaar...Bhari Babu! Pati Babu hein kyaa?
Bihari : Chote Malik toh nahi hai choti malkin! Somnath Baba ke sath kaarkhane ke kisi kaam se gye hein shayad.
Bondita: kuch bta kar gye hein ki kab tak aayenge vo?
Bihari: Kuch bta kar toh nahi gye.....
Bondita: Thik hai Bhari Babu, ghar par sab thik hai na?
Bihari : Jii Choti Malkin sab theek hai...
Aap toh khushal mangal hai na?
Bondita: Jii Bhari Babu... Main bhi thik hun.
Khyaal rakhiyega sabka aur apna bhi. Mai fir phone karungi.
She kept the phone and moved out of the Post Office feeling extremely low & helpless. Tears were rolling down her cheeks.
'Khaan hai aap Pati BabuBabu? aap toh hamesha meri himmat ban kar, mere rakshak babu ban kar mujhe samjhate the ki kya karna chahiye mujhe! Par aaj aapke bina samajh hi nahi aa rha hai ki main aisa kya karun jisse mujhe hal mil jaye is pareshaani ka.
Ek dam akeli pad gayi hai aapki Bondita, aisa lag rha hai jaise koi bhi sath nahi hai mere!'

After a while, on the way back towards her home she saw a child who was learning bicycle and suddenly fell down. Bondita ran to help him but he himself got up and tried again. Bondita stopped on her way & recalled her childhood memory.

Bondita was learning cycle outside Roy Chaudhary Haveli and she fell down.
Aniruddh came running and picked her up.
Aniruddh: Bondita... Bondita!
Utho...Aao!
Bondita got up and started weeping and said..
'Dekha na Pati Babu, jaise hi aapne mujhe akela chodh diya, mai gir gayiii...
Dekhiye kitni chot lagi hai mujhe, aapko aise akela nahi chodhna chahiye tha mujhe!'
Aniruddh bent down and said to her-
'Bonditaaa... Akela Chodhunga tabhi toh tum aatmnirbhar ban paaogi na? Aur hamesha mera sahara kyun chahiye tumhe? Mujhse puch kar Tarq karti ho?
Jab itne saare tarq karti ho "Aisa kyu Kaka Sasur Ji, Aisa kyun Pati Babu?" toh mujhse puch kar puchti ho?
Nahi na? Apne aap puchti ho... Toh cycle chalana apne aap kyon nahi seekh sakti?
Bondita: Par aap seekhate hein toh ache se seekh jaati hun na...
Aniruddh took Bondita's palm in his hand and started caressing them. 'Dukh rha hai... Hmm? He asked cutely & continued..
'Bonditaaa... Aisa bhi toh ho sakta hai kabhi main tumhare aas pas na rahun aur tab hi koi mushkil aa jaye toh hath par haath dhare baithe rahogi? Intezaar karogi...Ki mere Pati Babu aayenge... Mera sahara banenge, Meri mushkil aasaan karenge aur tab hi kuch hoga? Nahi na?
Kabhi aisa bhi toh ho sakta hai ki tum akeli ho aur tumhr akele hi ladna ho, ladnaaa ho us toofaan se jo tumhare saamne khadha ho! Tab toh tumhe akele jeetna hoga na usse Bondita???
Ek baat yaad rakho Bondita:
Tumhe Majboor nahi, Mazboot banna hai!
Kyunki tab hi tumhare jeevan main koi bhi pareshani aaye...tum uska hal dhundne mein saksham rahogi. Saksham rahogi us pareshaani ko haraane mein, us pareshaani se jeetne mein!
He took a pause.
Jeetegi na Bondita?
Bondita (in low tone) : Haaaan Pati Babu...
Aniruddh (mimicking her) : 'Haaaaaaan Patiii Baaabu...'
Jeetegi na Bondita? (A little confidently)
Bondita: Haaan Pati Babu (in confident and loud voice)
Aniruddh: Haaan!
Aniruddh then picked up her cycle and encouraged her 'Chalo firse ek baar koshish karte hain... '
He made her sit and then Bondita tried her best and balanced the cycle on her own.
'Dekhiye Pati Babu main majboor nahi, Mazboot Ban gayi hun'
Aniruddh: Shaabaash Bonditaa !!

Bondita came back to her senses and realised that it is her fight, she has to win it.
'Majboor nahi, Mazboot banegi aapki Bondita Pati Babu' she said to herself.
Next Day,
As Aniruddh came late last night with Som & didn't got the chance to have a conversation with Bondita
So today he was trying to call her but no one was picking up the phone.
Batuk entered into the hall..
'Boudi ko phone lga rhe ho Dada?' He said in a teasing manner.
'Haaan Batuk, lekin tumhari boudi ke yhaan koi phone uthye tab na!' Aniruddh said in an irritated tone.
Batuk continued teasing him... 'Koshish karte raho Dada... Koshish karne valon ki kabhi haar nahi hoti' & he started giggling.
Aniruddh looked at him, kept the phone down and then kept his hands on his waist.
Aniruddh: Tum kyu itna has rahe ho Batuk? Koi chedh-chaad ki hai kya tumne phone ke sath?
Batuk got scared: Nahi nahi Dada, main kyu karunga chedh-chaad? Vo toh bas....Aaj Sunday hai aur Daakghar band hoga isiliye Mujhe hasi aagyi.
Saying this he ran away.
Aniruddh realised that it was Sunday and indeed the Post Office would be closed.
The whole day went and Aniruddh was feeling low enough because he was worrying for her well being, he was not getting good vibes.
There in Devipur, Bondita was working on some sheets and she also read some articles published in old and new newspapers of Bengal.
She was planning something.
She then went to Shamita and asked some questions from her. While she was talking to Shamita, Sumati entered Mami's house.
