"You really believe what they showed to you?", he asked.

"Why not? We both know what their abilities can do.", I said.

"You have a point. What did they show you?", he asked.

I remembered what they showed me.

"The first one is when I chose you, they showed me how happy you are when we get married and when we'll be having a kid. They also showed me Yuxin and Linong, they're engaged.", I said.

"It sounds good, but it feels like you're not happy.", he said.

"The second one is when I chose Yuxin, it shows that you're slowly dying while Yuxin and I have continuous unlucky living. Like our businesses will go into bankruptcy and we don't have a job. We're almost dying from hunginess.", I continuously said.

"The third and last is when I chose nothing, they showed me that I will be unlucky forever... my friends and your friends will die, one after another.", I said.

I saw that he frowned.

"Did they tell you why they're doing these things to us?", he asked.

"They only told me that it's our destiny. Destiny that made by them just to make me alive.", I said.

He clenched his right hand. I'm still holding his left hand, so, maybe he prevented it from clenching just not to squeeze my hand from anger.

"Xueer...", he called my name.

"Let's continue our wedding, then you'll live with Yuxin after that. Maybe, we just need to be married.", he said.

I was shocked.

"We can't do that, Chengcheng. It'll be hard for you.", I said.

He frowned again.

"Hard? For me? I'll be the only one who will be having a hard time, it's better... it's more important for me to make you happy, Xueer. You're already having a hard time because of my parents. That's enough.", he said.

I look at his eyes, I can see the pain through his eyes, but I know... I can feel that he's already decided to make me happy.

"Chengcheng, you'll be an immortal. You hated that, right? Because you wanted to live a normal life, you chose to be mortal and left your role to become a king of Winter Academy just to live here despite of knowing that you can die here.", I said.

Originally, Winter Academy is a kingdom named Kingdom of Elites even before our parents' birth. Our parents were the one who changed it into a school where they trained the abilities of the people there.

Chengcheng and Kun were the grandson of the former King, The King have only one child which is Chengcheng and Kun's father, he's supposed to be the next king, but he wasn't a good son... the King decided to pass his thrones to his grandson, if he'll grow as a good person.

It's just a coincidence that Kun and Cheng are twin, but the King chose Cheng because he saw Kun's naughtiness, so, he didn't choose him even if Kun is older than Cheng.

(A/N: By the way, in this story Kun and Chengcheng is already 25 years old. In real life, Kun is turning 23 on August 2, 2021 while Fan Chengcheng is turning 21 on June 16, 2021. XD)

And because Cheng was against it, he refused to accept it, so, the King forced to divide the position and pass it on the people that he trusts the most... that's our parents; Yuxin, Yuyan, and Keran parents. Because of our parents, the kingdom became a school that is divided into four districts: Ice, Sky, Jungle, and Fire.
