When Stiles disappeared after his argument with Scott, the pack searched for weeks, and months even before they slowly started to lose hope in ever seeing their friend again.
Meanwhile, Thomas was fighting for his life in an epic battle against WIC...
An hour later Minho found us still sitting on the beach and he proceeded to kick sand all over us, effectively ruining the mood.
But then Tommy threw him into the water and we got to listen to him complaining about his now "ruined" hair, and it was very entertaining, until Minho grabbed me and dragged me into the bloody freezing water as well.
We all messed around in the water late into the morning and by the end of it we were all completely soaked and freezing.
-End of Flashback-
Liam sits up and rubs his eyes with his sleeves.
"Sorry about all that Newt." He blushes with what I'm assuming is embarrassment.
"It's no big deal Liam, how are you feeling?"
He shrugs and stands up. "I'm fine, we should get back out to the others so that we can start driving again, leave before things get even worse."
I stand up and stretch, "Are you and Isaac going to be driving in Theo's truck?" I hate having to ask him this but It's better I ask him now then let Scott or Lydia yell at him to get into the truck or for to just abandon it here.
"I think we are, there's no room for us in the other cars so we may as well take the truck. Besides Theo would kill me if I abandoned his truck in some motel parking lot."
He let's out what sounds like a forced chuckle and I manage to smile back at him.
"Let's go to WICKED and get everyone back, c'mon Newt." He moves towards the door but someone knocks right before he reaches it.
Liam opens the door and I see a woman I don't recognise. I assumed it would be someone from Scott's pack or maybe even one of the Gladers but I have no idea who this woman is.
Liam takes a step away from the door and further into the room.
"Hey Newt remember when I said we should leave before things got worse?"
I walk over to stand beside Liam. "Yea...?"
"Things got worse."
I look at the woman still standing in the doorway.
"Hey Liam." She waves at him and I actually hear Liam gulp.
"Hey Hayden..."
