Chapter three

I turned to find a man stood there he was old.

"Who are you?" He asked

"Oh I'm Nova I came with Skye I'm just checking on my friend"

"I thought you were agent May from the back"

"And you are?" I asked

"Gonzales" he said shaking my hand

I laughed and walked out of the lab.

Walking I bumped into the woman I was hoping to avoid.

"I'm so sorry I should have paid more attention I'm stuck in my head" I said as I smiled at the agent

"It's okay it was my fault as well" I smiled as I went to step around her and walk away. I got a little down the hallway when she shouted

"Can we talk?" I stopped in my tracks and slowly turned towards her she looked equally as nervous.

"Sure" I smiled and followed her down the hallway to an empty room.

"What can I help you with?" I asked when she shut the door

"Uhh nothing I just wanted to ask if you knew..." she struggled to get the words out so I sighed

"If I knew about your daughter"

She nodded

"I do Skye has a big mouth"

Well with what happened with Skye and her father that day you disappeared before I could even get a sliver of hope it was you....then Skye told me about that place and what Jiaying told her so Simmons ran a DNA test"

I nodded and she handed me the paper there clear as day was a picture of me and underneath a picture off Melinda and another man he had dark skin it said his name was Andrew.

Underneath that in bright red writing it said 100% DNA MATCH

I bit my lip so she was my mother......

"Look I want you to know that I never stopped looking and you were my everything" May now had tears streaming down her face

I was still in shock it hadn't sunk In I just stared at the paper.

"Please say something" she said after minutes

"Your- you oh I need to sit down"

When I sat down she sat next to me

"I understand you've heard about me and my past but you really were what made me the happiest you kept me sane and you were taken from me"

"You.....but you tried to kill me and my kind I've been told your a danger something to be feared I can't do this right now"

She slowly reached over and took my hand "if your willing I want to make up for lost time....be your mother the title I was stripped off"

I tensed as she held my hands tight I pulled them away out of instinct and she looked away with a hurt expression

"Sorry its instinct.....I don't usually let new people touch me" she looked back and nodded she bit her lip

"I never wanted to hurt you or anyone else" she cried "I did what I had to do to protect my people she was going to kill me if I had let her survive I would not have been here right now so many people would be dead.."

I was silent as I took steady breaths "I really do want to make up lost time....be there for you now when I couldn't before if you want" I could tell she was sincere and nervous

"I can try" I told her after a while and her face lit up

She then reached over and engulfed me into a hug it was everything I expected.....warm,loving,home it was like everything had fallen into place.

Once we had broken apart we were both crying she sighed and put her hand on my face moving away the hair.

"Your beautiful" she said to me and I smiled with a chuckle

"All thanks to you"

"I'm so happy to have you home I never want you to leave me again" she said pulling me in once again like she was scared to let go

"I'm not going anywhere" I assured her after all the last time she let go I was gone in a flash.

"I'm so sorry you went though so much alone"

"It wasn't your fault it was Jiayings"

"Please never leave me" she cried again as she held onto me tighter.

"I won't I promise"

I then left for bed while she went to call someone.
