Kai was extremely happy. Ara hadn't seen someone as happy as him in a long time– and the news weren't even about him.
She'd made it in the top five. Actually, she'd made it in the top three. Just below Choi Yeonjun, she was number two.
When realizing that, she swallowed hard, trying not to get her mind filled with worries and to not acknowledge the fuming stares everyone else –but Kai– was giving her.
Kai was number four.
"You made it super high!", he was saying while swinging Totto in the air with a beaming smile.
"You're gonna end up tearing my poor chicken apart", she rolled her eyes with a smile. "You did good, too. I'm super proud!", she mumbled softly and could see a glint of happiness emanating from Kai's smile.
He deserved to be happy about his own achievements, too.
"Who's this?", she pointed towards the name that had made it to number three. Kang Taehyun.
"Oh, I don't know", Kai shrugged and then pointed to number five. "But I know this one! He's super shy but really cute. He once let me have a gulp of his water because I was dying after practice and had forgotten to bring a bottle along", he said in his characteristic rapid pace.
