You can't always trust a memory. Sometimes you see a monster that harmed you but in real life it's just a poor animal that attacked out of fear. Sometimes you see the irresponsible person but actually that person was dealing with depression and didn't have the courage to go on. Sometimes you see that obnoxious child crying when actually that child never had any attention because their parents were too drunk to even care. You can't always trust your memory.
