Y/n's pov:-

It was 10:45, I'd be ready in about 15 minutes. The park was close by so I'd be on time.

Millie's pov:-

I was ready now. The park was kinda nearby so it wouldn't take much time. Y/n was such a fun person and I really hoped to get to know her well.

*Time skip*

I walked down the pavement and made my towards the bench. Y/n wasn't there yet. As I sit I heard a voice call out, "hey, mills!". My stomach did something at the sound of her voice and the nickname and I couldn't help but smile.

No Millie pull it together. What is wrong with you? You are straight and y/n is a girl. You are not falling for her.

While I was thinking all of this, I didn't notice but y/n sat by me.

"...Millie?"

"OH, sorry just got lost in thought. Anyways let's go get some food, don't you think?"

She just smiled and nodded.

I hope she didn't think I was not happy to see her because I was. More than I thought I would be.

Y/n's pov:-

I reached the park and immediately saw Millie. Oh god. I thought I'd reach before her. But she was before time. I hope she wasn't sitting there alone for long.

"Hey, mills", I called out to her. She looked at me and gives me that pretty smile and my ears warmed up.

Then suddenly her expression dropped and she looked...worried? Was it the nickname I said? I immediately ran up to her and called her name.

"...mills?"

She snapped out of her thoughts.

"OH, sorry just got lost in thought. Anyways let's go get some food, don't you think?"

I smiled and nodded, getting up from the bench as we made our way to the nearest fast food restaurant.

God, I really hope she wasn't disappointed to see me.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we heard gasps and "OMG IS THAT MILLIE BOBBY BROWN?" "OH MY HOLY CHEESECRAKERS ITS Y/N L/N!!!" "GOD, MY TWO FAVOURITE PEOPLE IN THESE WORLD ARE HANGING OUT NOW? YESSS!!!"

I seemed to be rather nervous as this is my first off screen fan encounter, but Millie seemed to keep her cool. I look at her and slowly I felt a hand grab my hand and interlace our fingers and I could swear I saw her subtly smile at me. Her soft, loving hands. I slowly felt my anxiety melt away and get replaced by confidence as I gripped her hand with a smile on my face.

Fans took photos of us with them and I immediately went 😊✌️ for the photos. In the commotion our hands get separated and I couldn't help but feel a little sad.

Millie's pov:-

I did something today. I never thought I'd do it. I didn't even know why I did it. It was y/n. I held her hand. She seemed so nervous and looked so cute then. My hand just kind of made its way to hers and she held mine back after a moment. I could feel her getting more comfortable. After a while our hands got separated during taking pictures with fans. I couldn't wait to go back to her and hold her hand again.

No why would I do that? She'd probably think I was weird or something.

*Teensy weensy time skip*

Y/n's pov:-

Skye worked here. In this restaurant. She came up to us with a smirk and asked, "so, how can I help you, royalty?"

"Oh, shut up Skye", I said playfully rolling my eyes.

"So, this is the Skye Crandall. Nice to finally meet you", Millie said extending her hand for a handshake.

I didn't realise it but I was staring at her.

"Are you...staring at me, dingus?", Millie asked with a smirk, crossing her arms.

"What? No! Im not a creep. I was looking at the.... coffee filter behind you.", I stuttered awkwardly, blushing like crazy.

"Sure", Skye said.

"There is no coffee filter behind me, sister."

"Oh-"

** Time skip coz I'm lazy **

"Hey Mills, it's time for us to leave for the spa thing', I told Millie after we finished our food.

"Sure", she said.

"Bye, Skye, see ya soon"
