『 Chapter 6 』

-------------------------Gulf's POV------------------------

I slowly opened my heavy eye lids feeling so exhausted, the view was a bit blurry at first yet I slowly focused until I recognized that I wasn't in my room, I closed my eyes again trying to recall what happened yesterday, the last thing I remember was when I started feeling a little unwell so I went to sleep early, I vaguely recall hearing Nin's sobs and Mew's voice but nothing else, I glanced to my right to find Nit sleeping and I knew immediately that smth must have happened and we are in the hospital

"uncle Gulf!" Nin yelled right after coming into the room, she ran toward me and held my hand, she was jumping wanting to climb and hug me

"Nin, I'm sorry for worrying you, I'm fine now" I said weakly reaching and patting on her head, Mew came following after her with a small smile staring at me

"Nin was shocked and cried a lot yesterday, I'm glad you are getting better"

"what happened?"

"it seem you and Nit got some kind of an infection from the forest you entered"

"how is Nit, what did the doctor say?" I asked looking so worried to my nephew who was still asleep as I slowly sat up

"both of you are fine, the doctor injected you with the medicine already, you will still feeling weak and exhausted for a few days but nothing serious" I was relieved

"thank you P' Mew, not only you helped me and Nit but you also took care of Nin"

"you should thank Nin, she was the one who noticed that you both were feeling unwell and even told me to call a doctor when I was freaking out" I smiled looking to my niece

"thank you Nin, you are a hero!" she cutely smiled

"I'm happy uncle Gulf is fine but my brother..."

"don't worry, he will wake up soon" Mew said sitting on the chair next to me

"for how long we've been sleeping?"

"over 12 hours, it's past 3 pm now, me and Nin went to eat lunch just a while ago"

"I'm really grateful to you P' Mew"

"you are helping me to cure my phobia so we are even, btw, I called Mild, he will visit you a little later since he couldn't skip work"

"you didn't by chance contacted my grandparents right?"

"of course not, first of all, I can't access your phone and secondly, you know I'm not good with people"

"I guess it's already amazing that you called Mild" I giggled a little

"Nit!" I heard Nin's voice as we all turned staring at Nit, he slowly woke up

"Nin... uncle Gulf..." he weakly said glancing to me, I tried to stand up yet my legs gave out and I fell back, Mew jumped and went next to him

"how are you feeling?"

"my body very heavy... thirsty" I was stunned when I saw Mew helping Nit to sit up a little and helped him drinking water

"P' Mew! Your phobia!"

"oh, it seem it's fine when I'm touching little children, their innocence makes me feel relaxed around them, it's all thanks to Nin I discovered this" he smiled looking really happy about this, I smiled back, I'm so glad that he at least can have some skinship with kids without getting sick

"I will go get the doctor" Mew went out and soon came back soon after

"oh Gulf, I'm so glad you are fine, I was really worried when you first came in"
