Sehun: Minha....
Sehun starts running around looking for Minha but Sejin rushes to hug him with reassurance
Sejin: She'll be fine
After a while Sejeong and Hana arrives while being dragged by a group of men and pushed down on the floor
Sehun: Let them go
Man: They might harm you again sir!
Sehun: Are you not gonna listen to me?!
The men leaves and both Sejin and Jaehyun rush over to help them while Minha continues hiding at the corner
Sejin: Are you two okay?
Sejeong: We're fine, Jaehyun let's go. We only have 2 mins
Jaehyun helps Sejeong up, while Sehun just stands there looking at them as if he had given up. After Sejeong notices him, he signals Jaehyun to run as she grabs Sehun's hands leading him back to the venue. Luckily all they arrive seconds before the continuation of the program begins.
Jaehyun: Your
Sejeong: Hm?
Jaehyun: Hands
Sejeong realized that she was still holding on Sehun so she instinctively lets go fast. All of the contestants take their seats as announcing of the final results starts.
Announcer: This contest is a long awaited event every year. Finally the votes from the judges and online votes have been tallied so right now we are to announce the result. Starting from the 5th plase.
-Drum Roll-
Announcer: We have Switzerland! Luca Müller and Eden Keller! Congratulations!
The runner ups move up to stage to receive the award
Announcer: For the 4th place we have
-Drum Roll-
Announcer: Japan! Hina Ayaka and Manatsu Suzuki! Congratulations!
And the 3rd runner ups follow up the stage together with the representatives from Switzerland. Now the tension goes higher as the 3rd place is about to be announced
Audience 1: I'm sure Philippines, Korea and U.S will be in the top 3 but the battle between the 3 has always been intense.
Audience 2: Right! They all did well, especially the U.s representatives, I hear the two are twins. They are really so talented and they we're being mentioned everywhere during the break
Announcer: Let's now move on to the 3rd place! 2 runner up goes to....
-Drum Roll-
Announcer: Philippines! Tolentino Kristoffer and Sanchez Mich! Congratulations
Audience 1: As expected, but do you know that Sanchez Mich was also the representative last year. I heard they we're most likely but her partner didn't show up during the announcement of the results. This time she finally won but many people have doubts since Korea won but their contestants weren't that good, they only deserved 2nd place. Even if i'm korean I can really say Philippines did better.
Audience 2: Well finally this girl Mich finally won an award. Well its about to get pretty intense, it's like a contest between Korea and U.S for the first place. It's already predicted
Announcer: Finally we have reached the announcement of the 2nd place or the 1st runner up..
-Drum Roll-
Announcer: The winner is-
Suddenly a light falls from above disrupting the announcement but still the announcer continues while the other staff try to solve the problem.
Announcer: Is......Korea! Kim Eunbyeol and Oh Sehun! Congratulations
Eunbyeol: What?!
Director: What happened?! The 1st place cheated!
Eunbyeol: I'm not going up there!
Sehun pulls Eunbyeol up stage to get the award while she complains about the ranking
Announcer: Now let's move one, among the pairs left, a pair will receive this prize! Everyone has done a great job and they all had put in effort for this contest. Finally we are going to announce the 1st place, the champion of this year's contest. The winner is.....
Then suddenly the lights go out
Announcer: Hello?
Sehun realizes that his mom suddenly disappeared after he turns his phone's flashlight on.
Sehun: *whispers* Sejeong, Jaehyun. Follow me
Jaehyun: *whispers* Where are you gonna take us? We won't obviously go with you
Sehun: *whispers* Either come with me or get taken away by those men from earlier.
Sejeong: *whispers* Let's go.
Hana: *whispers* Sejeong give me your hat and your jacket
Sejeong: *whipers* Why?
Hana: *whipers* I'm sure they'll try to take you so just give it to me. They won't bother looking for Jaehyun since they know if one is not present then you'll get disqualified.
Sejeong: *whispers* Thanks Sehun
Sehun leads Jaehyun and Sejeong into his room backstage by the dressing area.
Jaehyun: Your not buying time are you? Your not bringing us here so that we can't come back there are you?
Sehun: So much questions. Don't worry, I'll help both of you back there later.
Sejeong: Thanks.
Sehun: Than as a thank you gift, answer my question.
Jaehyun: What?
Sehun: Are you two dating?
Sejeong: What?!
Jaehyun: You must be kidding me.
Sehun: But why are the both of you together all the time?
Jaehyun: We already answered one question
Sehun: Then I'm calling them
Jaehyun: Fine, we're considered twins right now.
Sehun: Just that?
Sejeong: Our identity is currently fake. Why are you even curious?
Jaehyun: Instead of curious more like Jealous
Sehun: Shut up Jaehyun or your secret gets exposed soon
Jaehyun: Sorry. Wait you hear that?
Sejeong: Shhh
With all the lights off they hear footsteps nearby and a familiar voice as they try to make no sound.
