Amaya always thought she wouldn't find love. She did have dreams about being with someone, but she pushed those dreams aside. She put her family first, even before herself. But then Sarai died.

Amaya never felt more pain on her life. Sarai was always there for her, not only that but she gave Amaya hope. Hope that one day Amaya would find love. The kind of love that amaya deserved.

But Amaya didn't think so. Not anymore at least. If the world was so cruel as to take her sister away what hope should she have for love?

Amaya hopes were always limited, mainly because of one thing. Her deafness.

When Amaya was young her parents were very fearful for her, especially when she reached her teen years. They very much feared for her life, although Amaya differed. She was the type of teenager that said, "f#ck you stank ass b*tches!"

Yeah, Amaya would erase that part of her life if she could. She took all the risks climbing to the top of trees and cliff jumping into crystal clear lakes. Although the one risk she never took was being silent in the face of injustice.

Amaya was proud of herself for those parts. Others not so much. Even though Amaya took these risks and was never stood for any injustice she greatly regrets being silent about her own. Her own injustice greatly affected Amaya, giving a her a silent distrust in men.

With this silent distrust in men Amaya never dated for years. The main reason she even went out on a date was Sarai. Sarai would try to help her sister and bring her on double dates. Amaya knew her sister met well but those dates always left a bad taste in her mouth.

She always saw the way they would look at her sister. She hated it. She could see it in their eyes how they just wanted to pounce on Sarai.  'Predators' Amaya would always think. They always had eyes for Sarai not Amaya.

The only man who never looked at Sarai with that look was Harrow.

On the first date harrow brought Sarai a Bouquet of purple nettles. That was different, Sarai's dates never brought her flowers.

With Harrow, for the first time, Amaya wasn't invisible. She was seen.

"Hello Amaya, My Name is harrow it's nice to meet you."

That was new. He even offered her hand out to shake even though he himself was shaking. Amaya tilted to her head seeing her sisters eyes sparkle.

'This one a keeper Sarai, tell him not to be so damn nervous though!'

Amaya signed. Sarai laughed so much that she confused Harrow. Did he do something wrong? Sarai quickly told him was Amaya said causing him to smile sheepishly.

This date was the first one that wasn't a double date. Sarai wanted her sister's approval, Amaya knew that Sarai was going to talk to her about this. But all that Amaya saw was the perfect man talking to her perfect sister. It was a match made in heaven.

After the date Sarai gushed about harrow and how he was such a gentleman. Amaya smiled as she listened to her sister.

She couldn't help but to dream of her own perfect partner. How their eyes would be brighter than the sun, their long hair and soft hands. Her soft lips and her laugh. Her-

Wait. Amaya froze her thoughts. Her? Amaya had never thought of it before. She never really had an interest in men at all, she in fact hated them with a fiery rage that never ended.

She heard of people liking their own gender but it was ok right? Of course, it was! Amaya looked at Sarai locking eyes with her.

"Sarai I think I have to tell you something." Sarai nodded seeing the serious look in her eyes.

" You can tell me anything Amaya." She signed back.

Amaya's brain short-circuited, her mouth felt dry and her heart speed a million miles. She tried to think of what to say.

"I like boobs."

Sarai's face scrunched in confusion. "What?" That's was all she could say, as Amaya's face flushed to a pink hue.

"I hate men, thus I like boobs."

Sarai couldn't help but burst into laughter. It made so much sense, Amaya was into women not men. Everything made so much more sense now!

"Amaya you could've told me this sooner! No wonder you weren't into any of the guys I brought." Amaya snorted slightly.

"Maybe they just weren't my flavor Sarai." Amaya signed snarky. Sarai gasped hitting Amaya's arm.

"Amaya!" She couldn't help but bubble full of laughter.
