Kuroo's POV

What the fuck was going on here...????!!!

"Who- what-"

"..."

"....We need to put clothes on you before I can even keep going." I said to myself. I put my hand to my forehead, wondering if I just was having a weird, high fever dream. No way was that real?

I shook my head and went to my room, grabbing a random shirt and returning to the kitchen. I just kept staring and slowly tossed the shirt at.... whatever was siting in front of me. He blinked as the shirt landed in front of him on the floor.

"...?"

"..Put it on. Please."

"??..." He didn't say anything and just poked the shirt with his hand. I looked around before slowly walking over and crouching down. I grabbed the shirt and cleared my throat.

"....Put your arms up." I said, the.... guy... Doing as he was told. I pulled the shirt over his head so at least he was covered now.

"Okay... That's better. Now. Who the hell are you??"

"Kenma." He said quietly. I nodded, sitting back quietly.

"Okay... so you can talk. what happened. You. You- you were a cat last night??"

"..."

"...Thanks. Great insight." I said, not sure this wasn't just a dream. I looked down at my arm, giving it a pinch before shaking my head.

"Ow! Okay. Not a dream."

"You." Kenma said, tilting his head.

"What??"

"You."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm not a cat. Because of you."

"...Huh?"

"It's a long story." He said before looking around curiously. Maybe I died and this is a weird punishment.. No way that's true. My thoughts were broken when Kenma crawled towards me and climbed back into my lap.

"Back to bed now." He demanded while rubbing his cheek against my chest.

"H-hey..! Wa-wait a minute there!"

"Hm?"

"You can't just, do that!"

"Why?"

"Humans don't just, do, whatever it is you're doing!"

"They don't?" He asked curiously while still sitting in my lap.

"..No, they don't.. How long have... have you been a cat?"

"I don't know."

"Has it been like a long time?"

"Mhm." Huh, maybe he doesn't remember much about being human. What am I saying! I sound crazy. But, this has already been the weirdest night of my entire life. And that's saying something.

"...Okay. Okay. Back to bed." I said, hoping that this was just some wild and weird dream, or, if it wasn't... I was honestly too tired to deal with it right now. I tried getting up, but Kenma didn't move. He just looked at me, expecting me to pick him up.

I sighed, slowly picking Kenma up and carrying him back to my room. I set him down and climbed back into bed, Kenma climbing onto the bed with me and curling up into a bit of a ball like he did earlier. If, he's telling the truth about... having been a cat, that is.

Next Morning

I yawned, looking around before nearly shouting when I saw someone was laying on top of me. Everything that happened last night came flooding back to me.

"Oh my god so that wasn't a dream." I said, staring at Kenma who was still curled up and asleep peacefully. What am I supposed to do?? I can't just kick this guy out. Well, I technically could, but that seems far too cruel.

I turned my attention back to Kenma when he yawned and stretched out, his arm whacking me in the face. Kenma rolled off of me and fell onto the bed, his eyes opening as he stared up at me sleepily. He just stared at me before getting up a little bit. He rested on his knees and placed his hands and arms onto my chest while stretching again, letting his body weight fall back onto me.

"Oof- Kenma, are you getting up?"

"Mm." He just stayed still, slowly lowering his body so he was just flat out draped over me limply. I sighed, staring at the ceiling again until I felt Kenma's hand gently start poking and nudging at my hand. I looked at him in confusion before slowly raising my hand and petting his head. He gave a content look and closed his eyes.

Yeah, there's no way I can kick him out... He's clueless. And really does act like a cat. If I kick him out, he'll surely get sent to a mental ward or something. Huh, maybe I need a mental ward for believing this. Well, I'm not actually sure I believe it, but I do know that Kenma needs somewhere to stay. At least for now.

"Hey Kenma."

"Mm?"

"You can stay here. But. We need to talk about a few thing?"

"Huh?"

"What do you remember about being a human??"

"Um."

"That's, what I thought.. Alright, listen, you're gonna have to stick with me and listen if you want to stay here, okay?"

"Okay." He said before moving so he was laying fully on me. I widened my eyes when he yawned and rubbed his cheek against my chest again.

"Uh. Kenma?"

"Mm?"

"That's one thing you gotta stop doing."

"Why?"

"Well, humans really don't do that.."

"But I like doing it."

"Okay, but, you aren't a cat anymore. You need to learn how to act like a human."

"Why?"

"Well, cause, you are a human now." I said, Kenma frowning but nodding in understanding.

"Okay. So. What do I do?"

"You're going to have to learn the basics all over again."
