IT DIDN'T OCCUR to me exactly what time of the day it was or the day of the week as I walked clumsily through the messy living room, kicking aside the empty red cups and trash scattered across the floor. I was too groggy to pay attention to the state of my living room where two boys were snoring in unison; Carlos laying on the couch with his head dangling from the edge and Dixon on the arm chair dangling from either side.

None of this registered properly to me until I brewed myself coffee, took several sips and looked outside the kitchen window to see both Dom and Mikey's cars parked in the driveway.

Something about the sight of it seemed off.

My eyes darted to the clock on top of the swinging door to see that it was 12:40pm.

Dammit Mikey.

Despite the fact that my brother was a complete asshole, I trudged my way out the kitchen, back through the symphony of surprisingly unison snores and up to Mikey's room.

I knocked once, expectedly didn't receive an answer and opened the door.

Mikey was fast asleep, laying face up with his sheets half on the floor and half tangled across him.

He was loudly breathing in and out through his parted mouth in a not-so-graceful manner.

"Mikey," I tried, not really holding my breath for a response.

Why am I even bothering with this jerk after last night?

"Mikey wake up," I tried again, actually nudging his arm this time.

He didn't stir.

"Mikey, get your stupid ass up."

Nothing.

I literally didn't have the patience for this after everything that had happened.  It had been a long night, I was slightly hung over and still pissed at him.

Which is why I didn't waste any time as I looked around his messy room, picked up one of the dozen empty water bottles lying on the floor and went over to his private bathroom.

A moment later I poured the cold water all over his face.

Mikey jumped up immediately, sitting up as he yelped loudly.  "What the fuck Sam?!"  He yelled, wiping his face with his hands.

"Morning sunshine," I responded sweetly.

"You need to stop doing that!"  He looked up at me angrily.

"And you need to wake up when someone calls you."

"Shit Sam, that was cold as fuck."

I shrugged.  "You deserve it."

"What the fuck for?"  He exclaimed, clearly still processing everything very slowly.

"For last night dumb ass!"
