"DO YOU THINK there is a chance that extraterrestrial life exists ranboo?"
"yes actually i do. our universe is so big so there has to be some form of life!" he replies. "i love theories like this, it's so interesting, you know?"
"me too!! though there's not really anyone i can talk about these things with."
"oh?" he said, looking at them with a slightly concerned look. "why not?"
"i'm not sure really. i guess i focused on making others happy rather than speaking for myself."
ranboo suddenly had an urge to comfort them. "can i hold your hand?" he asked with an obvious tone of nervousness in his voice. they nodded their head and sighed happily. he took their hand in his, their fingers getting tangled in each others.
"i'm here for you. everything is going to be okay." he encouraged.
"thank you, ranboo." they said, as a glint appeared in their eyes.
for a second, ranboo could have sworn that they had slightly faded.
