HE FOCUSED ON a figure in his window, his vision clearing. it was a person. they sat on his window ledge, their legs swaying. ranboo didn't know how they had ended up in his window, but he was too tired to even inquire. they seemed to be an illusion, a phantasm.
"hm? is everything okay?" they calmly said, as if they had not just broken into his house.
ranboo stared at them, finally overcoming the shock. "oh, uh, i'm sorry i guess i'm just a little surprised. it's not everyday someone comes into my window, you know."
their laughter filled ranboo's ears, the melodious sound making him smile.
"look!! you're smiling now!!"
