Deshmukh's family returned back to their house, they were really tired after such a long hectic days. Pallavi retired to her room for rest when she got a call from the head officer, who was handling Mandhar's death case. He informed Pallavi that he has got some major clues from the accident spot and he wanted to discuss them with her. Pallavi assured him that she will come in few minutes. Pallavi went outside and saw that her father and mother-in-law already went to sleep, so she took Nikhil with her because he was awake.

They reached the police station and they were directed to the cabin of the head inspector Yash Sinha. They both entered the cabin and Yash asked them to take a seat.

Pallavi: Good evening Sir!
Yash: Good evening mrs.Deshmukh! Who is this boy?(pointing towards Nikhil).
Pallavi: he is Nikhil! My brother-in-law.
Yash: ok. I actually got some clues.
Nikhil: what?
Yash: Mandhar death was an accident case but we still aren't able to find the man who was at fault.
Nikhil: I don't get what you are saying.
Yash: well your brother was killed in an accident and the fault wasn't his. We actually got the CCTV footage of the hotel which was in front of that accident spot.
Pallavi: then?
Yash: we could see that Mandhar was driving carefully and the driver from the opposite side was in hurry and he hit Mandhar's car but due to the fog and bad weather, he didn't see Mandhar's car getting fire. He left and we just found the number plate of that car but due to bad footage, the numbers aren't clear. We are trying our best.
Nikhil: please just get that man who destroyed our happiness!
Yash: we will get him! Don't worry just keep your hopes high!
Pallavi: Thank you!

Pallavi left the police station with Nikhil, they reached home and she asked Nikhil to not disclose this truth to his parents, she doesn't want to worry them unnecessarily. Nikhil promised that he won't tell anyone, the both left to sleep in their own rooms. Pallavi reached her room and changed her clothes, she took her wedding picture in her hand and started crying.

I miss you a lot Mandhar! I don't think that I will be able to marry again! Please come back! I know it's not possible but this stubborn heart of mine doesn't listen to me(crying).

The next day in Rao mansion,
Raghav was pacing to and fro in anxiety because his mother and sister were coming to his house after so many years. He craved the attention, love, and care but he will get it now and make sure that it will stay here permanently.

Farhad: Sir! Calm down! There is still time in their arrival.
Raghav: no, my mum and sister are coming and you know I can't hold my happiness.
Farhad: I know Sir! You are very excited but you will get tired by walking like this.
Raghav: no, I won't.

They were talking when his sister and mother came inside with their luggage, Farhad ordered the servants to move their luggage to their respective rooms. Raghav went ahead, he hugged his sister and she reciprocated. He moved to hug his mother but she backed off, she asked him to earn his forgiveness first.

Jaya: Earn it!
Raghav: don't worry mummy! I will earn it.
Kirti: your house is so big and beautiful Raghav.
Raghav: thanks!
Jaya: I came here only because of Kirti and Pallavi's insistence.
Raghav: Pallavi?
Jaya: the girl who you met on the wedding.
Raghav: oh ok. Farhad please show them their rooms.

Farhad showed them their rooms, after freshening up they had lunch which especially Raghav got prepared for his mother. He was happy sitting with them and eating. He just needed to win his mother's heart and make her believe that he was indeed innocent. After lunch Jaya went to rest while Kirti said that she needs to do shopping because her friend's birthday is coming, so she has to buy a present for him. Raghav thought to accompany her.

They both reached a shopping mall, he asked her to shop as much as she wants because he will pay. She was hesitant using his money but he blackmailed that he was her older brother and it's his duty to pamper her and spoil her. She agreed after few tantrums. She entered a shop named 'Deshmukh's emporium', it was a clothing store. Kirti went to shop inside while Raghav sat in the cafeteria with Farhad.

On the other hand, Pallavi was doing a round of her shops with Krishna. They both entered the same shop where Kirti were doing her shopping. Pallavi went to check the accounts and sale graphs. She was doing her work when Kirti noticed her.

Kirti: hey Pallavi! How are you?
Pallavi: Hello! I'm good. How are you here?
Kirti: I'm doing shopping. And you?
Pallavi: I'm the owner of Deshmukh's emporium so just came to check the sales and accounts.
Kirti: wow! So you are the CEO.
Pallavi: yes! Are you shopping alone?
Kirti: no, I came with my brother. He is sitting down in cafeteria.
Pallavi: oh ok. Did you guys solve your issues?
Kirti: yeah, thanks to you. My mother agreed to give him a chance.
Pallavi: I thought he was deserving. Don't be soo formal!

They were talking when Raghav came with Farhad to check on Kirti, because she was taking long. He was shocked seeing Pallavi there.

Kirti: Raghav meet Pallavi!(pointing towards Pallavi)
Raghav: hi!
Pallavi: Hello!
Raghav: you here?
Kirti: she is the owner of Deshmukh's emporium.
Raghav: okay! Why were you taking so long Kirti?
Kirti: I came to shopping and don't you know girls take time. By the way, you guys talk and I just need to buy few things.

Kirti left them alone, while Pallavi was feeling happy seeing Kirti soo cheerful while Raghav was feeling awkward and didn't knew how to strike a conversation.

Pallavi: your sister seems very happy, right?
Raghav: yes! Thank you ms. Deshmukh!
Pallavi: thanks?
Raghav: I know you convinced my mum to give me a chance. I will be grateful to you for that.
Pallavi: I thought she was being a bit too harsh and secondly you did deserve a chance to prove yourself innocent.
Raghav: still thank you for sorting out such a big problem for me ms. Pallavi!
Pallavi: I'm glad that I could help you. Please enjoy! I have to leave, I'm getting late.
Raghav: that's okay! I'm actually throwing a birthday party for my mum. I would like if you come.
Pallavi: I won't promise! But I will surely try to come. When is it?
Raghav: tomorrow!
Pallavi: okay so hopefully I will try to come. Bye!
Raghav: bye!

Pallavi left while Raghav was staring at her retreating shadow and smiling like an idiot. Farhad saw all these exchanges and understood that his boss is getting attracted to this kind lady named Pallavi. He wished that he find his happiness with her.

Kirti came after shopping and they left for home. Raghav informed Kirti about the party and she was excited. He asked her to forward the invitation to Pallavi as well, which she gladly did. He instructed Farhad about all the planning and decorations. He dropped Kirti home and left for his office.

Raghav was sitting in his cabin and reminiscing about Pallavi and her kind nature. He was seriously getting too much attracted towards a stranger while his all attention moved towards this enigma called Pallavi. He just needed to get over this silly crush as soon as possible. He didn't wanted to become a fool in front of Pallavi and ruin his reputation.

Raghav p.o.v.
Get a grip on your emotions Raghav! What the hell are you thinking? Pallavi is not my type, she is too innocent and kind for me. I hope I don't embarrass myself in front of her.
