Chapter 24

"Well well, looks like we have a traitor here." The one with short blonde hair held his gun up to Reita who just stood still, the two not tearing their eyes from each other.

"Why are you helping this gaijin for Reita?" He pointed his gun at me but I didn't flinch even though deep down I was scared for my life.

"Because I'm not brainwashed like you Ruki, like all of you." Reita called out. I stepped to his side in case anything happened and the one with long copper hair looked down at me before whispering into Ruki's ear. The blonde chuckled as he stared daggers at me and he lowered his weapon.

"You're the kitten who belonged to the tall one right? Or should I say, the dead one."

The 4 laughed at me and I suddenly felt this huge rush of adrenaline run through my body. Before I knew it I lunged forward clawing at the blonde mans face who backed away holding his hand up. The other three followed him to check on him but he pushed them away, and approached me placing the tip of his gun on my forehead. Blood was running down his face from the three fresh cuts across his left cheek.

"I'm going to kill this gaijin!" Just as he was about to pull the trigger he was taken down by Ryan.

The fight was on.

We had to somehow take their weapons away from them so we could have a greater advantage against them. Fuck, I wish Francesca were here, she would've knocked these guys out along with Jimmy and Ryan. Im not saying the rest of us are weak, but fighting was not our strongest aspect.

"Fight! Fight!" Out of nowhere, Ryan went flying across the room and I noticed Remington was now standing in his spot with a baseball bat in his hand and that wicked smiled plastered on his lips.

"You are so DEAD!" Ryan growled as he charged towards the slim blonde man who just squared up with bat in hand. But before Ryan could make contact, Jimmy stepped in grabbing Remington from behind and lifted him off of the ground.

"Aoi, grab the cat. We need him alive." Reita barked at the vampire with long black hair. Aoi nodded before stepping towards me. I lifted my hands up, my long claws retracting from my fingers ready to defend myself.

"Yamete!" A voice boomed through the lobby and everybody froze in their places. My eyes were drawn to the top of the staircase where Hyde now stood with Kuza behind him as usual. He had a hand on his hip, an unamused expression on his face.

"You." He pointed a finger at Reita who just stood his ground, but I could tell he was terrified. "Traitor, after all I've done for you."

"You ruined me! You ruined my face, you ruined my life Hyde! You may have brainwashed my friends but I will not be your mind slave again." Reita was trembling, but he refused to show his fear. Hyde stared down at his former follower furrowing a brow as he looked back at Kaz, before looking back down at Reita.

"I'm the only one who can fix your hideous face, without me you're stuck this way forever. Get them, and bring me the cat." He ordered. The four vampires approached us, Aoi grabbing me by my arm attempting to pull me towards the staircase.

Ash and Dani came over to pull me away from Aoi but the vampire was just too strong. The other two vampires came over to pull the other girls away from me. Everybody began to fight each other, it was all a whirl but I was still being dragged towards Hyde. I tried clawing at Aoi but I kept missing and before I knew it I was at Hyde's feet. He reached down grabbing me by my throat with almost super human like strength and made me get down on my knees. He pulled a gun out from his pocket and held it up to my head, making me face out to everyone. Almost immediately everybody stopped in their tracks and now all eyes were on me.

"Now, I'm getting pretty tired of this back and forth conflict with you all. So I am going to end this once and for all." I heard the gun rattle in his hand so I closed my eyes expecting the worst, but it got too quiet. I opened my eyes to look up at Hyde who pulled the gun away. He smiled down at me but it was evil. His eyes were glowing bright red as he lowered the gun down.

"Ara ara, but I won't be pulling the trigger on you baby neko. Detekuru!" He looked over to Kaz who disappeared behind a curtain. When he came back out a figure followed behind him. I heard loud gasps echo through the room and when I took a better look at the figure my eyes went wide and I swear my jaw was on the floor.

Could it....no...it can't be.

There's no way...

My body immediately went limp as the familiar tall silhouette got closer and it was clear as day now.

"C-Chris....?"

Welp, I have officially moved out of my old home. Its been a crazy past few weeks buts it's all over now and I can finally get back to updating more often. I hope everybody is staying safe and enjoying the story. It's nearing its end, so how would you guys like to see it end? Is it actually Chris who showed up? Will they find Hyde's soulmate?
